Stronger Stopping Power with Less Maintenance. You can easily upgrade the antiquated rear drum brakes found on your 1990 to 2006 Wrangler YJ and TJ with the G2 Disc Brake Conversion Kit. There are two main reasons why you need to upgrade from drum brakes to disc brakes: stronger stopping power and less maintenance. Disc brakes will give you better braking control when tackling rough, uneven and off-cambered terrain. Disc brakes are also easier to clean and maintain compared to fiddly drum brakes. You can never have too much braking power, especially in the most demanding off-road conditions. With this G2 Disc Brake Conversion Kit, you can get rid of those weak drum brakes and improve the braking performance of your rig with a simple bolt-on conversion kit.
Exceptional Quality. The G2 Disc Brake Conversion Kit is made from OEM quality materials. The kit includes a pair of dual drilled rotors for maximum braking performance. The rotors are designed to accommodate 5 on 4.5-inch and 5 on 5.5-inch bolt patterns. Also included are a pair of calipers, an internal parking brake, and all the necessary brackets designed to fit the Dana 35, Dana 44, and Chrysler 8.25-inch housings.
Straightforward Bolt-on Installation. The G2 Disc Brake Conversion Kit is perfectly suited for your 1990 to 2016 Wrangler YJ and TJ. This kit bolts easily in the factory location with no drilling and no modifications required.

Kinda thought this was going to be a walkthrough.....
I put this kit on my Jeep tj and love it! No more nose dive when hitting the brake pedal.
kid goku. how much better your brakes are now ? comparing from before. From 1 to 10 . My brakes are terrible and everything is in good shape. No leaks good shoes and good drums. and how much you spent on that kit?
The Cat Felix : The new brakes were $540 plus cable's. I was adding new axles and just wanted a more complete rear end. The brake setup is basically the same as what's on a Rubicon. Same parts. My old brakes were trash, so yeah way better.
+Kid Goku. Thanks
I have a problem been trying to reach G2 for info have to replace brake shoes (parking ) and no answer how to buy the replacement parts
i try to send my question but doesn't work , i want to know what brake cable do i need for this kit thanks
I just subscribed to your channel after watching one of your videos. That video did not have any background music playing the whole time you were talking. I liked it, it was well done, and I appreciated the information.
This video has background music which does nothing except annoy you when you're trying to listen to what you're saying and concentrate on what you're saying. What's the background music for?
Background music adds nothing but distraction and annoyance when you're trying to learn something.
If I can't watch your videos without background music, then I can't watch your videos.
Does the stock prop valve for drums effect the disc stopping power/locking when you go disk?
I have it been trying to get parts for it and they never answer ,so now im stuck whit this ..also I see the studs after instalation are to short the lugnut grab less than a 1/4 of it and like I say they never answer my Emails ..I wasn't asking for something free ,just need to purchase replacement parking brake parts and rotor is damaged
Ever get an answer? I found parts the hard way, but I can replace them, I'll sell the answer since they won't.
4883717AA Brake pads
52008184 Rotors 5x4,5 drilled
4762102 Right caliper
4762103 Left caliper
These are basically all 94-98 ZJ parts
Will u have to change the master cylinder to one with rear disk brakes?
How do I know which e brake cable I need
Where can replacement calipers be found for future repairs
They look like ford expIorer brake system
2 hours, no way.
More like 2 eight hour days.
Not to be a jerk, but u repeat yourself way to much
OK this is STUPID WHY do you haft to buy the E Brake cable separately if your gonna need it sale it with the kit. I will NOT BE BUYING from this company just because of this one thing.
nobody cares homer. go buy a bmw
Because this fits 3 different platforms, YJ, TJ and ZJ, and they use different length cables. So you buy what you need after installation.
