Expect to pay around a grand for a pair at least, if you can find any. It’s hard to be a big tire street car guy these days. Four Webers on a blower, such a late-80’s early-90’s period piece! That oilpan has been beat up pretty bad. Definitely change the oil pan and put an exhaust on it and you'd have a nice weekend whip. And after watching the flaws a new set of rear tires lol. I just absolutely love the brutal honesty of Nick Southgate at Maple Motors!!

With a car as loud as this one who cares about the horn. Just rev it up instead. Awesome ride I would enjoy weekend racing that car. Glad you made a video about it.
Big question is how the ENGINE was built? 4 bolt main? Balanced and blueprinted? Forged rotating assembly? Forged pistons? Forged rods? Hardened bearings? Smokes when running?
That car is just so sick I absolutely love that car. I couldn't see myself owning something like that unless I some how became a millionaire. I'm surprised you took it out for a test drive. Couldn't you get into serious trouble talking it out on a test drive?

Wow Nick if I can get my hands on some money soon the underpressure will be going to Puerto Rico race way and all over the us I really love that 67 Camaro hopefully I can get this thanks Nick for the info on the underpressure really want this thanks again and God bless
I would get rid of all that shitt on top that blower 🕶 and I would put me to 600 dual pump spread bores on it , otherwise nice looking ride 🕶 The car is a hot rod the value on this ride $30000 bucks madebe 🕶
@@davelowets definitely don't sound like a fuel problem to me. Sounds like timing. I have worked on, and restored cars like this for almost 40 years. But without actually being there. I just going by sound. Could it be carburetor? Maybe but from my experience. I don't believe so.
@@GenXRedneck420 4 Weber carburetors in a draw through supercharger application is just BEGGING for fueling issues. That's why I don't believe the issue has anything to do with timing at all. You couldn’t even come close to building a car close to this quality for $40k!! Beautiful car, great price, needs a bit of tlc on paint n body but well worth the asking price. Hopefully Nick has a list of what’s inside the engine cause that’s half the value right there

Like you'd hear the horn anyways over the open headers lol
Just need more petrol yet, for daily used 😂👍
maple motors
When I was alot younger, I built a 67 almost like this one. 454 .120 over, Dana and a power glide 5000 stal. Sweet and quick ride.
Sounds like it needs some tuning on the fuel system

I was hoping that you would show us that the wheelie bars and parachute worked!
🤣
I’m so glad you decided to give us a test drive of this one. That HAS to be the fastest car I’ve ever seen on the lot.

Wow! Someone has put a fortune into this beautiful car! From the paint work to the sound I would love to have this car!
Looks like it needs a full strip and body restoration those are stress cracks from frame twist
I doubt it. It HAS a full cage in it.
Doors and fenders dont line up.
16:36....Ummm NOT a chip. That is a CRACK, the steel body is cracking due to the HP and lack of a subframe!
Someone slapped a bunch of parts together.. didn't have a clue how to make it run.
That had to be a blast! Great job Nick!!
Nick’s garage has an episode with this car being repaired and tuned with a pair of 4 barrel carburetors. Yes it is a awesome car
That’s Awsome Nick got a serious look on his face don’t he.
Very nice ride someone put a lot of time in money 💰 in this build 👍🔥 Nick sweet ride

i have put 4 quarters on them 67s they are no joke to fit properly
I hear no blower lag at all meaning what a tune, she’s dialed in.
No, it's not dialed in...he's gotta keep feathering the gas to keep it running. Those side draft carbs are useless on a blower.
Blower lag??
Couldn’t resist a drive huh. I remember you saying you weren’t going to take this one for a test drive haha
"It's not really streetable".
Oh I could make it work. 😁
Kinda sounds like the valve lash might be out, sick ass ride no matter what though 🍻
Got to make sure that fuel system is in check before driving it. Probably but sitting in a garage for a long time
Amazing Chevrolet Camaro pro street very unique 👍
Beautiful beast of a car, running a little rich but a fine tune and it will shred pavement, is it set up with an 871 blower? I want this car so badly.
Wicked Sweet ! Alot of money went
Into that 👍🏻
Did you put either and alcohol in it or did you put 105 octane boost with high test mix before starting ?
Watch nicks garage in Quebec Canada. He got it running real good
The thing would probably run alot better with two 4500 series 1150 dominators.
1 4500 1150
Ahhh...yeah, that would be on a trailer in my garage ready for race day!!! You just got gaptized by an old Camaro! 🖐😁 C-ya!💨
Under pressure will get the blood pressure going, quite the ride, American muscle
The fuel system needs major tuning. In the beginning of the video, look at all that gas coming from the exhaust.
