Are you sure only half a cup of water? Because I tried it a couple times to make the dough it’s dry..I wasted 8 cups of flour.. I have empanada recipes that I’ve been making but I saw yours and I decided to try it. Never tried one with vinegar.. I just want to know the accurate measurement of water please.. Thank you..

It's up to how you do it and the flour you are using. The water should be very cold (ice cold water) and the butter too. Hello. Off course you can bake it also. Brush them with egg wash and bake for about 20 minutes (375°F) or until golden brown. Keep in mind that texture/taste may not be the same with the ones fried. Thanks!

Hello. Yes ½ is right but if you mix the dough and think it's still dry, add a little bit more, gradually. Thanks!
