A Lezyne Pocket drive is small enough to fit inside a headtube (or at least it does on my Cube Reaction Hybrid Pro), and a kayak bung of the correct diameter will hold it in there. Add some rubber bands around the pump to stop it rattling, and voila, you always have a bike pump available, on the bike.
Here are some laws on computer abuse and fraud that could be violated by tampering with e-bikes onboard computer systems: The Computer Fraud and Abuse Act (CFAA): The CFAA prohibits unauthorized access to protected computer systems. Modifying the onboard computer system of an e-bike could be considered unauthorized access, if the owner of the e-bike does not consent to the modification. The Clean Air Act: The Clean Air Act regulates the emissions of pollutants from motor vehicles. Modifying the onboard computer system of an e-bike could be considered tampering with emissions controls, which is a violation of the Clean Air Act. The National Traffic and Motor Vehicle Safety Act (NMVSA): The NMVSA regulates the safety of motor vehicles, including e-bikes. Modifying the onboard computer system of an e-bike could be considered modifying a motor vehicle without complying with the NMVSA, which is a violation of federal law. In addition to these federal laws, there may also be state laws that prohibit tampering with e-bikes. For example, California has a law that prohibits the modification of an e-bike that results in a speed of more than 20 miles per hour. If a person tampers with an e-bike onboard computer system and causes the bike to become dangerous, they could be held accountable for computer abuse. Computer abuse is the use of a computer system to commit a crime, such as theft, fraud, or vandalism. In this case, the crime would be the modification of the e-bike, which could result in injury or death. The penalties for computer abuse vary depending on the severity of the crime. In some cases, computer abuse can be a misdemeanor, while in other cases it can be a felony. The penalties for computer abuse can include fines, imprisonment, or both. It is important to note that the laws surrounding e-bikes are still evolving. As e-bikes become more popular, it is likely that new laws will be enacted to regulate their use. Does this count for anything?
For a tight ass elevator, you simply remove your bike's front wheel, and then you wheelie it. I almost always do Jojo pose when I wheelie mine due of the pedals sticking at my legs. Lol
If you have a bottle cage on your EMTB, but like most you always use a backpack/hydration pack, you can hacksaw the top off an old water bottle and use it to store a tube, etc in the bottle in cage. I duct tape over the opening but a better lid might be devised. I try to keep my back pack as light as possible is why I try to store tools/tubes/etc elsewhere.
My jaw hit the floor with that Chain Ring Wedge hack.. I've had my E-MTB for more than a year now and cleaning and lubing my chain has always been and a slight workout and takes almost 5x longer compared to me cleaning my Gravel Bike chain..
Good hacks. the gear shifting will not work on Bosch engines unless you move the rear wheel first on the ground. it is best to move it a bit backwards and then lift it up.
I would be hesitant to use duct tape to seal out water etc because of potential paint damage. A better choice is a good quality painter’s tape like “Frog Tape’ - waterproof and less likely to damage paint.
@EIectricmountainbikenetwork thats great what giveaway is that

9th hack: replace Suntour Shox with a brand that actually is possible to service at the local bike shop! My piggyback shox has been twice in Germany for service and still it got no pressure
Cover the brake caliper holes not with duct tape which can get sticky on the back brake due to heat, but with aluminium from a drinks can. You can use tin snips or sturdy scissors (be very careful) and make a cross shape that will cover the hole but has wings either side. Make small holes on both sides of the wings on the cross shape and stick the split pin through keeping it in place.
Hi Chris, great video, your such a credit to the channel !! I heard a few weeks or so ago that you were leaving the channel ? Did you have a change of mind as we see you continuing with embn ? Are you staying full time hope so !!!
My favorite thing to do is to add a six pack of super hoppy beer to my bladder in my backpack and then pack it full of ice. All my friends say I sure do drink a lot of water!
I just got a Levo, but was on the fence with the Husky, I was looking all over the net for Husky reviews, Any out there?, how do they measure uo to other E-MTB's? Tnx in advance
Am I the only one that doesnt use his emtb for off-road? Lol I have a full suspension emtb but I just use it as a daily for work although it is a absolute beast on the trail with about 90nm torqe
He glued tape over break calipers? What? Put it over eye lids, it will stop dirt from flopping in your eyes, no glasses needed. Yay? Nay? Put some chain lube on your teeth and it will smooth out the trail ride. WoooW sooo smoooooothhhhssss,

That walk assist gear change was legit. 😊
Yes it was! 😎

Great video Chris, thanks!!
Glad you liked it, John! Chris had some great hacks in this video! 👍
Very smart way to have a tool to help do the backwards pedalling for the maintenance. Thanks for the tip.

Walk mode wtf 😂 I'm so new to ebikes hopeing to get one this year. Cheers for the tips
Welcome to the world of e-bikes! Yeah, walk mode is brilliant! 😂 We're glad you enjoyed!

Good to see Chris and very useful hacks.
Sure is! Chris had some great hacks in this video!
I had my hub give up after only doin about 200 miles on the bike but luckily it happened about 5ft out the front door lol
The last one is dope
The cable tie to facilitate chain lubing is brilliant.
I use my walk assist to get the front wheel up and on the back wheel to maneuver it in tight places or to "wheel barrel " it
I'm digging that motor skid plate! I been looking for something to fit my Reapter PT
Nice! Tank you (again) for these tips!
Excellent! Thanks😊
You're welcome! Glad you liked it!

Great ideas 🤘😎
fantastic tips every one very helpful well done thank you
Wonderful tips. Thank you
Static gear change... Brilliant, I hate shifting "under load", so mechanically unsympathetic! 😜
duct tape fix almost everyting😄😄😄nice hacks
It really does! 😂
HEy look its Chris
Great video regarding stopping mud stick I've found that in those areas an industrial silicone spray works great as the mud can't stick to it
Great tip! Silicone spray is a good hack, just don't get it on your brakes! 😂
@EIectricmountainbikenetwork thats great what giveaway is that

Whish I would have known the free hub hack earlier. Great vid!
Yeah, it's a brilliant hack! Thanks for watching! 👊
Me too, my shimano rear hub failed on my Merida eOne sixty a month ago, and had to walk back...

hi bro im always watching your video but can i teach how to add speed limit of emtb?
I just got a Levo, but was on the fence with the Husky, I was looking all over the net for Husky reviews, Any out there?, how do they measure uo to other E-MTB's? Tnx in advance
Do they make a risor that is adjustable for a 22.2mm stem?
I cannot seem to find one. Can you help?
Is Chris back?
I use walk mode to get bike up.
Come on Chris tell us what your doing
Is the husvana a good bike ?
Forgot to mention- get an AirTag and buy something to hide it in! Extra safety in case something happens
Am I the only one that doesnt use his emtb for off-road? Lol I have a full suspension emtb but I just use it as a daily for work although it is a absolute beast on the trail with about 90nm torqe
Residue from duct tape is a b... to clean!
👍
Motocross riders definitely don't put foam on their bike lol. It could so easily come lose and get wrapped round your chain.
Gar ridge 😅
Putting duct tape on the stanchions of your forks will also stiffen up your suspension a little bit. 😂

Zip ties was a horrible idea the spoke is supposed to be pulled on the end..
You will bend them if you do this
Don't do the zip tie idea your better off walking home.. don't ruski fucking it up spikes are not designed that way
instead of duct tape.....use gaff tape !!! ...... from your local music gear retailer
Duct tape is not a hack. Its purpose built. You need to learn what a hack is. Clearly.
Hack, save time making hack videos by repeating tip from your previous videos ad nauseum. Thanks Warner brothers
You payed attention to my duct tape hacks!
Cant believe the industry doesnt use Schrader tubeless valves instead of presta,so much better.
great
The Allen key in the chainring and the freewheel failure tips 🤌👌
All great but those 2 ❤
Why? Don't you think those two will work?
@@vashon100 I mean, those 2 are brilliant!
