Thanks lol. Yeah I think it would be at least 3GB on normal video and considering that I also filmed another long route (22) on that day I really didn’t want to risk running out of storage later on
I never quite understood how they decided what "town" or "village" a bus stop is in. According to bustimes, under the "Epsom and Ewell" borough, the have Epsom, Ewell, Langley Vale, Tattenham Corner and Woodcote Park, and then under Epsom, and Ewell, they have further "sub" areas. For example, "Stamford Green" comes under "Epsom". Similar to how in Reigate and Banstead you have "Redhill" and "Reigate", for example, then under "Redhill" itself, you have "Coles Meads" and "Earlswood", and under "Reigate" you have "Doversgreen", "Mead Vale", "Reigate Heath", "South Park", "Woodhatch" and "Wray Common". In full, the areas in Epsom and Ewell are, according to bustimes (which gets the data from The National Public Transport Access Node database, aka NaPTAN) Epsom - Horton - Parkview - Stamford Green - The Wells - Woodcote Ewell - East Ewell - Longmead - Stoneleigh - West Ewell Langley Vale Tattenham Corner Woodcote Park But then, you get bus stops that is listed as being in one town, but make more sense to be listed as another. Take Redhill and Reigate again for example. You have the "Donyngs Leisure Centre" that is listed as "Redhill", and then not far from there, you have "Shaw's Corner" and "Law Courts", which are listed as "Reigate". The distance from these stops to Reigate is probably _twice_ as far as it is from there to Redhill.
@@scmtuk3662 The only reason why Donyngs is Redhill and Shaws Corner is Reigate is because the official Redhill/Reigate border is in between the two. But I do agree with your point. However if you were to look at the orginal point about the 21, i'd say the reason why it isn't shown as Ewell is because the route stops a few stops shy of the village centre. Many people think of the centre when looking at a destination, and if someone were to think, oh, so the 21 takes me to Ewell Centre, they'd be confused when it terminates at a Sainbury's just after Epsom. As a general rule, a route can't really be advertised as going to a place if it doesn't come close to the central stops, which the 21 doesn't.
Well, I'm now the second person to have filmed the 21, and will soon upload the video!
Really nice visual, the route looks nice! Don’t worry about the speed I understand a route that’s THIS long wouldn’t be easy on normal recording

Has the Crawley Metro bus route 21 has been double decker as a Gemini 2? Great visual mate in a good time.
Thank you and no, as many of the narrow roads around Box Hill \ Headley have low trees which make double deckers unsuitable
@@SouthernTransportFan oh ok I see the London is my local?
Nice!
Thanks :)
Fantastic vid! Also just to let you know: it’s Ewell, Kiln Lane not Epsom :)
Yeah idk, i've never seen metrobus advertise it as Ewell in any of their timetables or front bus displays, it's always been epsom
bustimes.org also says epsom, but as it's kinda halfway inbetween i guess you could say either

The bus stop falls under epsom, and so does the sainsburys (just about)
