If APC is not a curse to Nigeria, are we supposed to still be importing fuel at this time? We have a Dangote, a patriotic man ,who has done what our government could not do for years . Yet ,this government is actively killing entrepreneurship and local production. They want to keep importing because that is where the stolen money comes from. Just shut up if you dont something , its good that you dont comment... Nigeria has its own business model before Dangote came on board... Dangote should have tried to plan for his crude .. Nigeria has helped him a bit too by selling oil well tor him so that he can develop his own crude stocks... Dangote too is not a saint , he has that funny tendencies too... All the same they should make it sense ...

Really confusing analysis. In one breath you say dangote needs dollars to finance raw materials. Which means he really needs to export his finished products to get dollars. If he sells in naira, he will put pressure on the naira to convert back to dollars. So in effect dangote should be selling all he makes to get dollars. Yet you fault importation of white fuels by others. You can't have it both ways, stopping imports and buying only dangote and dangote sourcing dollars for feed stock. So analyst unfortunately are stuck in this feedback loop of wanting to stop importation without being able to seat back and look at the bigger picture. Dangote exporting all he makes, nigeria importing it's needs, the balance of trade position is actually better than nigeria buying all it's needs from dangote.
