No country with such a huge self-inflicted national debt can be considered to be truly rich. Wall Street Weasels HAVE to be properly regulated--and that did not happen in the past to any great extent--and it sure is not going to happen in the future.

Basically a barter system where no currencies are actually changing hands.
The reason why there is money is two fold. One, the barter system is a completely untenable system for anything other than basic goods in micro economies. Two, you can not borrow barter goods. Yeah all of the BRICS are net exporters so which one of them is going to take the economic hit of running a persistent trade deficit for them to replace the USD as reserve currency? Certainly not China, which is larger than the rest of them combined, so what, will the BRIS reduce their exports and therefore their employment? Will they put themselves into a situation like Greece where if they are less productive than another country their currency is tied to, it destroys their prosperity? These are the questions that need to be answered before a BRICS currency is even feasible in theory .

At the last Brics meeting a few weeks ago they did discuss replacing the dollar. They also told all of those attending to bring only dollars or Euros to use as currency while in Kazan.
The US dollar does 90% of world currency trades. Demographically the US is adding population every year and because of immigration, is not aging as fast as Russia, China, Europe or Japan. Demographically, China and Russia is aging, are under educated and their population is shrinking. There is a lot of evidence that shows that this is Russia's last chance to have a standing army that could be a conventional threat to Europe. Once the US hits a recession then all that foreign exchange held by other nations gets devalued.
Saudi Arabia now has far more control over its oil exports since it shunned the petro dollar agreement back in August once the 50 year agreement ran out and has chosen to sell via three different trade currencies including a digital currency. Now their oil exports need not be affected by a US fluctuating dollar value or US recession when selling oil to non US affiliate nations.
A big part of Brics is about the global south recession proofing itself.

Looks like it's time to invest in crypto.
Which countries would hold on to the US dollar as reserves when the US can take it at any time? 😂😂😂😂😂

Go with Dollar only
I read, Gold Reserves and there's a "Crypto Currency" (?)
Lol, this guy. He’s always THE marxist economist, because he’s the only marxist economist! Even the chinese economists arent marxists, only the CCP leadership and this lonely fellow…
Richard Wolff is just one of many who have been discussing this subject for some time.
Certainly since the Saudi's came off the 50 year petro dollar agreement back in August 2024 and are now exporting oil in three currencies including digital currency, Brics has been a topic of discussion between many global economists.
Marxist? Wth are you talking about.
Its global trade, try to keep up.

As a newbie investor, it’s essential for you to have a mentor to keep you accountable.
Kristine Lynn Weber is my trade analyst, she has guided me to identify key market trends, pinpointed strategic entry points, and provided risk assessments, ensuring my trades decisions align with market dynamics for optimal returns.
I managed to grow a nest egg of around 120k to over a Million. I'm especially grateful to Adviser Kristine Lynn Weber, for her expertise and exposure to different areas of the market.
I don't really blame people who panic. Lack of
information can be a big hurdle. I've been
making more than $200k passively by just
investing through an advisor, and I don't have
to do much work. Inflation or no inflation, my
finances remain secure. So I really don't blame
people who panic.
Without a doubt! Kristine Lynn Weber is a trader who goes above and beyond. she has an exceptional skill for analyzing market movements and spotting profitable opportunities. Her strategies are meticulously crafted on thorough research and years of practical experience.
how would you recommend i enter the crypto market? I am also looking at studying some traders and copying their strategy rather than investing myself and losing money emotionally. What's your take on this approach? and How can i reach her, if you don't mind me asking?
Impossible the reaction from the United States would be ungodly.
Seems like the trump regime is going to reek havoc on 🌎 😢. ✌️world.
At the last Brics meeting a few weeks ago they did discuss replacing the dollar. They also told all of those attending to bring only dollars or Euros to use as currency while in Kazan.

First up in here.
How exciting and what an achievement in this day & age.

This is sad to hear. Bring every manufacturing job we can, back to the states.
Wont solve the problem because the prices for goods and service will only increase while the US standards of living continue to go down.
The Mark of the Beast is on the way
Maybe what you saying is true. But do you have to looks like an angry goblin?
The US dollar does 90% of world currency trades. Demographically the US is adding population every year and because of immigration, is not aging as fast as Russia, China, Europe or Japan. Demographically, China and Russia is aging, are under educated and their population is shrinking. There is a lot of evidence that shows that this is Russia's last chance to have a standing army that could be a conventional threat to Europe. The BRICS all have the denial of human rights and the rule of law. There is no way that they will ever come to dominate the world.
Hahaha, great joke! you are really funny, why not become a comedian?
