Today we will be doing some homemaking, major cleaning, and setting up our Christmas tree! Decorate along side of us, or snuggle up with a warm drink and relax as we spend the day together as a family.
The relief it is to see a UA-cam video of a great Mom that has some dirty dishes in the sink, stuff on the table, and random things on the floor ❤ It helps me to not feel so alone. So many times you see these “perfect” homes that have toddlers running around but zero mess. Those videos make me feel so bad about my home and me as a mom and wife, so THANK YOU for ALWAYS keeping it real ❤
Those videos are fake. Trust me when your babies are grown you won’t remember or care how messy your house was you will remember ( as will they) how mama played and stopped everything to play with them. You are doing just fine.

Finally Children actually being allowed to decorate the tree ! No one ever shows the children decorating instead everyone is wanting their tree to look designer. We always decorated the tree as a family and couldn’t wait to pull out the same decorations that have memories or were homemade by the kids each year adding a new memory to the mix. Such fun and great memories. I also love hearing scripture in your videos especially pertaining to working in the home and motherhood . For so long woman we’re made to feel less important if they stayed home to raise the family instead of of seeking a career . Sadly it was other woman who made woman feel this way . Iam so joyful to see many young woman embraceing and loving their roles as wives , moms. And turning their houses into sanctuary’s of love , peace and safety. What a beautiful gift God gave to us woman. You are such A good example of Gods love for other young woman. Many Blessings filled with love.🙏🕊❤️

Yes, glad some has said this, all those perfect monochrome trees. I have to admit, few years ago I wanted a tree like that, tried to convince my 5-6 year old at the time that we will only put 2 colors on the tree. He would not have it and I no longer even try. I let them decorate however they want. Its just perfect

The last time I had a big tree after my boys moved out was so painful. I was alone putting up the tree and hanging up all the homemade ornaments and reliving all the past memories with tears in my eyes. I realized how fast the years fly by when raising your children and how much I missed my little boys. Enjoy all the moments you have you won’t believe how fast it goes bye.🙏🕊❤️
I never felt less important for being a stay at home mom- I felt “rich” because I could. (We were by no means rich). So many of my friends had to work to make ends meet. We lived extremely frugal to meet our commitment to live debt free and me to stay home. Still, I felt rich because I was wealthy in other more “important to us” ways.

Kristin don't ever feel that you need to apologize to us -your fans!-. My 3 young children are grown and gone on their own now but I remember how it all felt so overwhelming! Your doing great! I love that you included your girls being a part of it all.....they are beyond cute❤❤❤I watch some videos and the kids are no where to be seen ! Don't they take part in the tree trimming? AND that green colored top makes your eyes POP!! And I love your hair curled!! When I was at home with my little ones (3), and did cleaning, quite often I reminded myself that I was doing whatever task was in front of me to honor God. He puts us in that position to mother, cook, and maintain a home to produce healthy people-who hopefully also honor God. You are doing a wonderful job, and I’m sure it is pleasing to God! ~Cathy

I asked what happened to the couches and Kristen said they sold them. What a pity. I thought they were the nicest thing in that home. The couches had the pizazz of new furniture, but they were traditional enough to blend in well with the eclectic, country home.

By the time I was 12 I ran our commercial fishing lake when my mom was grieving my dad's passing. All summer myself and two younger sisters got up at 4 a.m. and worked till 10 p.m. every night selling tickets, food, mowing 7 acres, and on and on and it was the best time of my life and I learned so very much. It made me strong.

Sweetie you are a real professional you tuber and what I love about you is that what we see is a regal person. Everyone of the you tubers have messy houses also they just don’t show that part. Sometimes when emergencies happen it is hard to be on a normal routine. You are amazing your girls are adorable like their mom.

Kristen is it always so enjoyable to watch your videos and today was extra special seeing your darling girls. IF you ever get west of Omaha, head to Grand Island and go to the Railroad Towne Antique Mall. It is a fabulous antique store, 3 floors of antiques. Then you can head further west to my town called North Platte and go to Grain Bin Antique Town. This would be a must in the spring, summer or fall. It is 20 wooden grain bins each filled with all types of antiques and a full size massive shop filled with primitives, antiques, antique furniture, you name it. And if you get to Grain Bin, look me up and I will take you around. Your tree turned out lovely!! Thank you for your authenticity and sweet video today!!
