Monique!!! So happy to see you; have thought about you often and have missed you. Sorry about your shoulder and the pain you've been going through. Hope it heals fast. You & your mom look so beautiful, can't wait to see the commercial. I had a tear in a wrist tendon and the fluid was leaking out, many years ago. So very painful. Had to get steroid shots in my wrist; so painful. It took some time but finally healed. I can relate to your pain. Love your makeup look! All my best to you silver sister. Stay safe & well. ❤🤗 XO
Its so great to see you again. Its been almost a year now since i found your channel. I was struggling with the decision of growing out my hair. You were there to give the go ahead i needed to just do it. Covid came along and actually made it easier to embrace the roots. Anyways all the hair dye is gone now and i am loving the low maintenance of it. Thank you so much for your channel and showing us gals its ok to go grey. Happy New year Monique PS i have been struggling with frozen shoulder since feb 2020. It is getting better but am told it can take at least a year to 3 years to "unfreeze".
You are a beautiful person, Monique. I hope your shoulder gets better soon. I have pain all the time in my lower back and my right elbow. I am a nurse working 60+hrs a week... I find the pain exhausts me. Going through menopause put so much stress on my body... Stay safe!! Looking forward to seeing your future videos. Take care!!
You have my deepest sympathy, I've been where you are with both shoulders, ugh. First one took 6 months with a great physical therapist, (3x's a week, $$$), but I avoided surgery. Other shoulder I knew enough to know I had to have surgery, recovery isn't any quicker but I needed some bone removed otherwise healing wouldn't have occurred. I remember being in the shower crying because I didn't think I'd ever be able to raise my arm above my head or shave under my arms again!!! Please know it will get better... Just live one day at a time. Welcome back even if it's limited, you've been missed 💕
Dearest Monique, so glad to have news from you and to see you again. I thought about you and already feared that the quiet time was due to your shoulder. Hope the worst is behind you now, I know what pain - certainly chronic pain - can do to ones energy levels and spirit. You’ll get there, just maybe adjust the workload a bit. You have done soooooo much in that house. But, using your left hand has an advantage as you train your brain!! 👍🏻 Loved the part with your mum, it gave me instant goosebumps..💖 so nice and special. A unique mum~daughter moment. I am over in Europe, but when I heard the news of LA and the ICU problems .. not that we’re doing that great over here 😳 But it is what it is, we all have to take care of ourselves and each other... and those drapes.. they will arrive one day. The actual setup already looks nice, don’t worry. And girl ... woww .. your skin .. it looks so fresh and youthful. I thought you had make up and blush on but, it was your blanc canvas!! I never use heavy make up, but now with the lockdown and using even less make up I can see a difference. Makes one wonder, 🤔 what is the goal again to put make up on? To look better?! Perhaps another lesson learned. Less is more!! Save the heavy paint for the walls 😂 Who does not like a fresh looking face. Keep safe ... keep healthy. Pamper yourself and enjoy Christmas 🎄 with Howard. 💕💖💕
So happy to hear that you're on the mend ! I have noticed since the start of the pandemic that I have been holding so much stress in my body, trying to stay busy has caused painful joints and made me very cranky! I hope that you are able to enjoy the holidays and keep hoping for a happier new year ....minus the aches and pains :)
I watch quite a few woman doing makeup online....haven't watched you in a while...forgot how fun and honest and a 'friend' you are...thanks for being so you!!!
As someone who has suffered from two frozen shoulders, I empathize fully. It hurts and it affects every aspect of life. I had the first one operated on because I didn't know any better. I don't recommend surgery unless you have poor quality of life and have exhausted all your other options. The second time around my PT suggested a very highly qualified and compassionate massage therapist. It took time, but she literally brought me back to life with a lot of pulling, stretching, and deep tissue work. I know massages aren't possible right now, but they will be! I wish you the very best and complete healing-
Looking fabulous Monique! I will be 61 in February and Mile high altitude makes my lips so dry! I wear Mamode night mask on my lips every night!!! It's so moisturizing!!!
Sorry about your shoulder girl. I've heard that the shoulder is terribly painful. We miss you too. I got COVID on Nov. 18th, it was pretty brutal but I had more body aches and a horrible headache. I exercised my lungs every day and it was very mild in my chest. My husband has liver cancer and we stayed apart for 14 days and he didn't get it! I'm so grateful for that.
Love your honesty and spirit, think the whole world is feeling how you feel. Hope your shoulder starts to heal. Don’t push it too hard, gentle physio exercises often help. These are very testing times and perhaps we need to re-evaluate why we’re here. Stay safe in mind and body. Happy Christmas 🎄 x
Oh Monique! I have that same issue with my left shoulder. I am a really strong woman that barely sheds a tear but when I get that “frozen shoulder” I cry like a baby from the pain. And no the doctors lied. I’ve had this issues like you for 6 years and it has not gone away. Since then I am EXTREMELY careful with it. So happy to see you and hope you feel better soon!
Hi Monique 😃🥰. Oh it's so nice to see you again 🥰❤🥰. I am so sorry to hear about your shoulder. Having that injection in the shoulder hurts. I have had ìt once. I really hope that you will get better soon. Everything takes so long to heal when it comes to our joints etc🥺. But I'm sending some warm thoughts and Lots of energy❤. I think you look beautiful today with your hair like that ❤. Wishing you a wonderful day and a Very Merry Christmas 🥰❤🎄🎅🤶❤🥰. Stay safe and healthy. Lots of love from me to you 🤗😘🥰❤
Hi Monique, I know exactly what you're going through. I had a frozen shoulder for the first time around 4 months ago. I'd never ever felt pain like it and I've had some painful medical problems in my life. I took painkillers and bought a TENS machine to use on my shoulder but neither of them gave long term relief and I was beginning to get a bit depressed with it. Unbelievably, one morning, (after about 8 weeks), I woke up and the pain was almost gone, I couldn't believe it........I see how it's affecting you Monique, I fully empathise and truly hope you're free from your pain soon..... Love and hugs from Scotland 💕
Wow! So good to hear from you! Hope you are on the road to recovery with your shoulder. Please take care of yourself and stay safe! You look beautiful!
I feel so bad for you and your frozen shoulder. I had the same from lifting my grandson over my head one time. It was awful. It took physical therapy, shots, and a lot of prayer. It took 18 months of allowing it to heal at its own time. Baby it to death. Glad you are back, you were missed.
Hi Monique! It's Always good to see you! Sorry to hear about your shoulder... hope you get to feeling better soon. Your mom's is such a cutie! Can't wait to see the commercial with the two of you together... 💕
It is so nice to see you back. I hate pain, and I know how debilitating it can be. I am glad you are feeling better. I can't wait to see the commercial of you and your mom, how sweet. I remember seeing an ad at Target with you in it and squealed with delight. I am not sure if you are vegan, but have you looked into the benefits of gelatin for joints?? It could help. Lots of love. xoxo
Welcome back!!! There's no need to apologize. I'm so happy that you're feeling better. Continue to take care of yourself, and Happy Holidays to you and yours!
Feel better @Monique. It's good to see you again. I suffer from the same and it's the right also. Just take care of yourself and be safe out there? ❤️Muah
I've had frozen shoulder as well. The WORST! Spent months and months getting treatment, massage, anything. Went to a chiropractor and it helped immensely. Hope you feel better soon!
It was good to see another video but take care of you. This year has been so stressful all on it's own. I for one don't mind the calmer energy. This year has had enough high energy for several years to come lol Take care of you, now, so that there will be more of you to come. Happy Holidays and Blessed Be.
Monique so nice to see you again! Yes, frozen shoulder is the worst! I thought it felt like someone was knifing me until it went frozen. With therapies, I was frozen for eight months. So glad you aren't alone and that your honey can help you. Be good to yourself and just pop in and say hi once in a while. Merry Christmas. 2021 will be better.
I'm so sorry to hear that you have been dealing with unforeseen shoulder pain, and dysfunction, Monique; I am glad to hear that you are on the mend as of late. I have biweekly marcaine injections in my face, and neck in order to tolerate severe chronic pain from my deteriorating right jaw joint, so I can certainly empathize with you. I look forward to seeing more of you soon, Beautiful! Merry Christmas to you, and yours, Monique! Love, and hugs, Sherrey💘
So glad your back! I am so sorry you have been struggling. I just finished a about 1.5 years with my frozen shoulder and it has been unbearable!! I can now move my arm but man, every once in awhile it flairs up. I found excercise wall stretches to make it 10 times worse so I just slinged it close to my body some days and let it heal. I am 51. I hope yours heals up soon😢 On another note that natural make up on you looks beautiful❤️
I love this natural look on you, you look so younge and fresh xx I also have the same problem with my right shoulder and I know how very hard it is to do normal everyday stuff, take care and happy Christmas xx
Omg! I was literally looking you up on IG because I thought I didn’t have you anymore. Sorry to hear about your shoulder. I’m recovering from a broken leg myself. So good to see you again. 🙏💕
So good to see you again. So sorry to hear that your shoulder is hurting so bad. Could tell that it was painful for you. Please take care of yourself and heal.
So sorry you're going thru it w/ the shoulder. I've had 2 frozen shoulders - first the right froze for 9 months, then a couple of years later, the left. Yes, the pain is excruciating. The second time I went to a massage therapist who did trigger point therapy, which kept me off pain meds. The makeup look was great. I'm in L.A. too and it's so bad now that I'm afraid to even go to the grocery store.
It's lovely to see you, and I'm glad you're healthy. I'm very glad you're having a life. Never apologize for low energy or anything else. I love you for the genuine self you share. Merry Christmas to you and Howard! 🎄🎁🎄
***Airrosti therapy*** I too had a frozen shoulder. After onle 8 sessions of Airrosti, I had full range of motion and have not had issues since. I am not sure if Airrosti offices are in California or maybe something similar. I highly recommend this type of therapy. Not gonna lie, it was a bit painful to go through but well worth it!!!
Left handed makeup vid! also my mother had a frozen shoulder after she had a slight injury to it, she did a lot of physical therapy and her shoulder is almost 100% better. It was a long process but since your new dr mentioned the physical therapy give it a shot! get better soon chica
Monique. Always great to see you. With or without makeup. You are the very first utuber to say right out loud that you are not wearing makeup right now. Most of us are in the same situation. Why is everyone acting like nothing has changed. Also. Your skin is ‘loving’ it. So is mine. We will all go back to wearing full makeup when the world balances out. So let’s enjoy this for now. I would love to see a video on wearing makeup with a mask. Clearly we don’t need foundation but what can we do with the rest of our face. Eyes and brows should they be heavier so they stand out OR lighter. I cannot decide. Hope. that shoulder heals up fast. Great video. Thank you.
Welcome back! It’s very good to see you. I think we’re all a little low energy right now but I expect that will get better soon. Anyway thank you for letting us know what’s going on with your life. I was wondering. Thanks for the update hope you have happy holidays!
I’ve had two friends with frozen shoulders. Both said PT was essential to recovery. I have no idea if your situation is like theirs, but both said the worst thing you can do is to stop moving the shoulder. But listen to your doctor- I’m sure she is giving you good advice. Good luck, and try not to be too dispirited about this- it isn’t likely to be this way forever!
Sorry you have pain. If ANYBODY can overcome constant pain ( which I get, have it myself from a neurological problem ) it is you. Take great care of yourself and know we value you x
I am so glad you are back! I have rheumatoid arthritis and have had this happen only once. Other parts of my body have been worse. I hope you feel better soon!
I can totally relate to your pain, it's miserable. Sending you "good vibes" for a speedy recovery from the shoulder pain you are experiencing. So hope you have a Very Merry Christms and a healthy and Happy New Year.
So glad to see you again. You look fabulous, darling! Your complexion is the best I’ve ever seen it. Foundation has a lot of chemicals in them...not great for the skin. I love this makeup tutorial...and you felt very relaxed and approachable. Whatever you’re doing is looking good on you!
So happy you are on the mend! For chapped lips, have you tried Burt's Bees? They have regular, All Weather, and Medicated. Got a set years ago and switched from Carmex and Blistex. And, maybe I haven't noticed before, but that's quite the sparkler on your right hand 💗
I know chronic pain and it can be very humbling and sobering. Try to be kind and patient with yourself. Thank God for Howard, your family and your loving fur babies. When I get really down, I find counting my blessings helps, taking meds when needed and lots of rest work best for me. Love you and praying you get some relief.🌹
Wow, you got your great looks from your mom! Oh and I actually really like your hair in this - the headband totally brings it together. Hope you're back to right ASAP.
I've missed your videos. You look beautiful in minimal makeup. I've had a frozen shoulder twice. It was terrible. I even cut my hair shorter so it was easier to style.
So glad it's getting better Monique!! I have the same problem in both my shoulders and fully understand how excruciatingly painful it can be. Not to mention the frustration of being unable to do any little thing at all. They don't call it frozen shoulder for nothing 🤣😏 Your hair looks beautiful BTW 👍 and I'm happy to see you're doing well (other than that darn shoulder 😉). Take good care of yourself 😘🙂💖💖
So happy to see you Monique!! Glad you are doing well except for the shoulder; hope it gets better; I know how you feel; I have had a frozen shoulder too and it does hurt. Love you bunches also!! Take care!!!
Glad to see you Monique. I love the NARS concealer colour in vanilla. It seems to go on nicely. I think I might try it. Sorry about your shoulder. Recently hurt mine when exercising, and yes, it is not fun
Hello Monique, your skin does look great! So many of us can relate to injuries that are either chronic or slow healing. I've had a pull in my shoulder where it meets my biceps area for quite awhile. It only triggers at peculiar angles but it has dogged me for a year already - very annoying. Also, chapsticks of all kinds only make my lips drier. Try plain vaseline for awhile, I find it works better - just give it 3 days.
Hope you're feeling better soon Monique. I'm sure it's very discouraging and frustrating. Good to see you and thank you for the video. No need to apologize to your fans. We love you! 😘
I hope you feel better soon Monique. You look beautiful.
Monique!!! So happy to see you; have thought about you often and have missed you. Sorry about your shoulder and the pain you've been going through. Hope it heals fast. Love your makeup look! All my best to you silver sister. Stay safe & well. ❤🤗 XO
I think your long silver locks are stunning.
It’s good to see you’re back and doing well .
Had a frozen shoulder when broke in a car accident. Hard to do anything. Your brave doing any make up. Get better soon.

You are an inspiration because you are real! Very refreshing!
Let’s talk about that RING!
I was curious too...She shows it on her IG - 55th birthday present! Man - quite a gift!
How great to see you! Have a safe and happy Christmas and a wonderful new year! 🎄☃️
That was really very helpful. I’m doing some zoom meetings also . Thanks for the video.
Take care!!

It keeps surprising me is that even after not watching you for a long time, I came across this video, and it's like reuniting with an old friend.
Welcome back! It’s great to see you. Hope and prayers for the shoulder situation, ouch! Stay safe.👍❤️
Looking fabulous Monique! I will be 61 in February and Mile high altitude makes my lips so dry! I wear Mamode night mask on my lips every night!!! It's so moisturizing!!!
Aw the end of your video really made me want to give you a hug x

Silly Monique - high energy, low energy, we love you because of your realness, not you current energy level! Take care and Merry Christmas!🎄

So glad to see you are recovering! I once broke my shoulder and totally understand how hard it is to do so many things.
Wow! So good to hear from you! Hope you are on the road to recovery with your shoulder. Please take care of yourself and stay safe! You look beautiful!
So good to see you are doing well. You look great, love your hair, love your hairband. This is all temporary. All is good!! Peace and love!

Hi Monique! It's Always good to see you! Sorry to hear about your shoulder... hope you get to feeling better soon.
Your mom's is such a cutie! Can't wait to see the commercial with the two of you together... 💕
God bless you Monique with complete healing for your chronic pain and impaired mobility. 💕🙏🏻💐
Hi Monique it's lovely to see you again. Take your time and stay safe. We are all low energy at the moment. Loved the very pretty look today xxxxx
Lots of love. xoxo
Hope you have a wonderful Christmas 🎄
You are so soft and gentle in this video. I can see you and I like you.
Chronic pain is so draining. Sending hugs Monique and wishes for a recovery for you soon xx
Excellent advice from a good doctor. I don’t blame you for not filming. Can’t wait to see you with your mom together. Beautiful look. Hugs 🤗
Oh your mom is beautiful! Merry Christmas and get well soon
Great to see you Monique sorry to hear about your shoulder it's horrendous I know! Sending healing love from the UK 💞

Hi Monique! It's good to see! I'm so sorry to hear about your shoulder. Sending you healing energy! Take care of yourself. Hugs!
Nice to see You Monique Love and Light xx
Merry Christmas 🌲 nice to see you. Take care!
Try cherries for inflammation - my mother got her shot in the front arm also.
When you say cherries, do you mean the actual fruit or a supplement? Thanks
So glad your back! I am so sorry you have been struggling. I just finished a about 1.5 years with my frozen shoulder and it has been unbearable!! You are looking amazing ! Less makeup is so much better and looking gorgeous 💜
Good to see you. Hope your shoulder gets better soon. Your hair seems darker, did you put dark rinse on or ?? Thanks for video. Happy Holidays.
Wishing you a healthy pain free new year. I have right shoulder issues as well. Great to see you!
Merry Christmas & Happy New

Sorry you have pain. If ANYBODY can overcome constant pain ( which I get, have it myself from a neurological problem ) it is you. Take great care of yourself and know we value you x
So glad to see you and hear from you. I hope your shoulder feels better soon. I can tell you’re not quite yourself because of pain. 😟
I had a shoulder replacement and you’ll get more secure with the shoulder soon🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Hi Monique! You look fabulous! So good to see you! I hope you feel better soon with your shoulder.
Speedy recovery 😸 Happy holidays.
I am so sorry 😞 for your pain. Glad you are back. You were great and I hope to see you soon 😘
I am so glad you are back! I have rheumatoid arthritis and have had this happen only once. Other parts of my body have been worse. I hope you feel better soon!
So sorry you are having the problems with your shoulder. Hang in there it will get better. Merry Christmas to you and Howard.
You should try aquaphor on your lips
It’s stays longer than anything else out there
I can totally relate to your pain, it's miserable.
So glad to see you back. Also, so sorry to hear about your troubles. Been having shoulder problems of my own. Keep up the good work! ❤
Wow, you got your great looks from your mom! Oh and I actually really like your hair in this - the headband totally brings it together. Hope you're back to right ASAP.
I agree.about her hair and the headband, makes her look so put together and beautiful.
@@kathygreen8398 Right?! :D
I've missed your videos. You look beautiful in minimal makeup. I've had a frozen shoulder twice. It was terrible. I even cut my hair shorter so it was easier to style.
Wish you well, Monique. I always enjoy your videos. Warmest holidays to you and Howard.
Rachel
So glad it's getting better Monique!! I have the same problem in both my shoulders and fully understand how excruciatingly painful it can be. Not to mention the frustration of being unable to do any little thing at all. They don't call it frozen shoulder for nothing 🤣😏
Your hair looks beautiful BTW 👍 and I'm happy to see you're doing well (other than that darn shoulder 😉). Take good care of yourself 😘🙂💖💖
So pretty! And lovely to see you x
For perpetually dry and chapped lips, Bigelow Mentha Lip Tint from Bath and Body works. It has a very cooling menthol feel that is so soothing!
So happy to see you Monique!! Glad you are doing well except for the shoulder; hope it gets better; I know how you feel; I have had a frozen shoulder too and it does hurt. Love you bunches also!! Take care!!!
What more do you need. You look very polished. Wish you improved and good health. 🌺
Glad to see you Monique. I love the NARS concealer colour in vanilla. It seems to go on nicely. I think I might try it. Sorry about your shoulder. Recently hurt mine when exercising, and yes, it is not fun
That black mascara really works, love it!
Great to see you again. Yes stay safe and Happy Holidays to you Howard and fur babies. !!!
