That's his own fault for disabling his secondaries in the beginning which would have came in handy with the daring plus he didnt switch to HE after killing the Bungo. Thats all human error.
He'd have killed the bungo earlier too with a secondary kill on the Iowa
Pretty good match for skills there. I hate to say it as he did so well, but having secondaries off and not swapping to HE cost him just enough to, in my opinion, make difference between a loss and a win. Intense battle though, so understandable.
I often use AP on destroyers rather than miss a shot opportunity; but you gotta switch to HE when your only remaining opponent is a DD.
Yes. Take the first shot with AP if you already have it loaded, then immediately switch to HE
Around the 16 min mark, the ship's secondaries arent firing because Skills turned off AA and secondaries.
Wow, they were still off during the Daring encounter as well. Having secondaries would have made a difference, as well as swapping over to HE at the end.
Why turn off the secondaries against a DD, and then not switch to HE that cost the game.

You had your secondaries turned off. They turned off at the 9:10 mark. May have been accidental, but they were never reactivated.

not swapping to HE to sink the dd pushing a ship that has torps.
Here's why:
1) You left your secondaries off the entire match. Which is fine if you're engaging at range. However, when you close the distance to engage the Iowa and Bungo, the damage from the secondaries(namely the fires not so much the secondary pens) would've helped sink them faster.
2) The Daring had free reign, and so did the Jacksonville, on their side of the map. You handled Jacksonville perfectly, however I do think the Sherman got caught in his radar and didn't run in time
3) Back to Daring, you kept AP loaded. AP does significantly LESS damage to destroyers than a cruiser or battleship, even on overpens. You needed to use HE for Daring, it would've done more and he was very healthy. If he wasn't healthy and near death, fine keep AP in the barrels, but being that low it would be unlikely he would get that close. Again, your secondaries were turned off for that encounter as well. They would've helped with a fire or two and some pens on Daring. Are US secondaries that good? No, they are not but they do help when needed. Massachusetts, WV44, Georgia and Ohio, they are the exception.
These reasons are exactly why you lost. That and judging by the end result screen, some of your teammates didn't exactly do their part and contribute to the win. I might seem harsh, but you asked why you lost, I gave my two cents.

Note that while the U-2501 did wiff a few salvos at the end he scored more base xp than all but the top 3 ships on the enemy team.

Well turned off the secondaries at about the 9 min mark of the replay and never turned them back on again. They sure would have come in handy at the end. Might have made the difference between the win or the loss.

Idea on how to fix Warships....buff ships for being close to another.. like RPGs ...want BBs or CAs to push a little..give em a little buff for being near their DD..or something to that effect. Also bring in 3 ships per player like Warplanes does. Pick 3 ships 2 tiers apart. When 1 gets sunk your 2nd then 3rd ship spawns. Would make rounds a little longer people wouldnt play like their lives depended on thier BB not losing any hps..

Press C, when spotter is up it changes the view instead of changing the "turret view"

hey SLMB around 10:22 in this battle you will see he is zoomed in but then he raises the camera view.... how is this being done... do you know?
When you have a spotter plane up you can change the camera angle while zoomed in with the C key.
How do I aim like that? like almost isometric, is it a mod?

Impressive match, but he did misplay the Daring at the end. Probably should have charged in and definitely should have switched to HE. But I'm guessing Skills makes far, far fewer mistakes than I do!

The guy overall slid into the kills but has no battle awareness and cost his team a loss! Plays poorly!
I feel like im playing a different game to everyone else. I BB main and never get dispersion as good as this and I mean NEVER. My Yammy, GK, FDG, Kremlin, Hawke, Venetto, Iowa all have garbage sigma. Even under 10km I get 3km horizontal dispersion and as much as 2km vertical. I just spec everything as a secondary build just to get more than constant 20k damage games.
That's weird, Iowa has great guns.
@@brosifstalin415 Thats why I gave up grinding the Monty.. I have started some cruiser grinds just because all BB's are unusable for me.
