Man, this is awesome. After watching this video I'm really confident I can create what I want to. The only thing I didn't understand was how to extrude faces and edges and scale them. It's actually insane that this tool is free to use.
I guess Im randomly asking but does someone know of a tool to log back into an Instagram account? I somehow forgot the password. I love any tips you can give me.
@Willie Zayn Thanks for your reply. I found the site thru google and I'm in the hacking process atm. Seems to take a while so I will reply here later with my results.
@Willie Zayn DAMN IT REALLY WORKED! Just hacked my IG login after ~ 45 mins of using the site. Had to pay 15 $ but definitely worth it :) Thank you so much you saved my account :D
I use sub-d's a lot, primarily in catia, but also in fusion 360 and sometimes rhino. When accommodating engineering requests and keep outs, I often import their geometry and/or change the surfaces to hit exact dimensions. Can you do either/both of those with this program? also, awesome series!
That is a very great question. Unfortunately I can not answer that based on my use case.. I'm sure the GS team can give you an answer. I'd suggest reaching out to the team @ www.gravitysketch.com/ under their contact form. I hope they would be able to answer that question..
Just a quick one. When You grap edge to copy it looks like that edge is not moving but when im doing that orginal edge is moving before i make a copy. Is just me or is it just a matter of practice. TBH is hard to move 3Ds max to this kind of workflow :)
You mention that there's a lot of subd best practices / theory that's beyond the scope of this video. Do you have suggestions for good videos on that topic?
I've made a playlist that should help. Only a few videos so far as I have to do a bit of searching (memory and Internet) of ones I found useful over the years. I'll update this as I find them. I'm working on some that focus on Automotive specific surfacing, but the videos here cover a lot of the fundamentals and issues with SubD that occur no matter the subject. ua-cam.com/play/PLk4TuLsItP4vXI0FoRmNU07ud-vIW1JC5.html

Thanks for making this video. It helped me get my head around the tools. I’m a beginning modeler and this really helped me understand the tool kit.
thank you for this! I was racking my brain on how to get my wheel arches the way I wanted them... back to GS for me.
Probably the hardest part because they will look off when next to a round object.
So happy for having bought GravitySketch for my Quest. You're doing a great job guys 👏👏👏👏
Thanks. Glad to help and spread the knowledge
This is super cool! Just what I wanted when I first got Gravity Sketch almost 2 years ago..awesome to see it in action!!

Vertex!
Vertex!
1 vertex, 2 vertices.
This great! I'm coming from a "traditional " 3d background and want to know how get up to speed in Gravity Sketch quickly.
I hope they add Boolean and merging in the future
That would be amazing.
I really wish I could play your videos directly in Gravity sketch. Would help tons.
Great stuff!
Yes, please make more videos about modelling in Gravity Sketch
Working on it..:)

blender needs to go full tilt into VR. It would be mind blowing
Is this app still around? All the vids UA-cam serves up are 2-3 years old
Yes, Its still going strong. There are lots of videos on the Gravity Sketch channel. www.youtube.com/@GravitySketchUA-cam/videos

Might just be a matter of timing when you pull the trigger after grabbing it
ytell me about this smoothing tool, i cant see it in my oculusquest app....
It should be available when you are in edit mode of a Sub-D object. Press the tool Icon on your drawing hand and it should be visible..

Amazing work, which vr headset do you use?
I started with the rift but now I switch between the Index and the Quest.
Could I chat with you about how you work inside Gravity Sketch?
Sure
UA-cam videos in app to watch tutorials while you work?
@Dhwanil Panchal Yes I saw that. And still it would be a handy feature.
Do you tend to model in subD or nurbs now,
Both really. I use the nurbs for big patches then convert them to subD and merge with other patches and then build out the subD surfaces
Thank you, learned a lot 👍😊
Glad it was helpful!
