I work in Solidworkd 3D CAD, got a Quest 2 and love it. I want to try designing in Gravity. But the workflow hasn't clicked for me yet. This video sure is very encouraging 👍
Hey man, I've done solid works for a long time and I know what you mean. To go from detailed and measured designs to free and improvised designs takes some insight and time. By practicing this app a lot you'll get there soon enough.
@@martijnj6797 coming from 2D design this is a major concern to me.. how come those small distances, spaces are eyeballed in all distances? Does it mean you need to bring in to a pc later to realign everything? I wish there were some alignment and distribution features i hot to use in illustrator.

Amazing design tool in VR. As a geometrically inclined individual, I am having a surreal time playing around with this. Amazing glimpse into what VR will be. One day we will be able to do this in our minds and project concepts into the "cloud mind" for others to witness and tinker with. Can you imagine what worlds and ideas we will create (and inhabit) in the near future? VR combined with neuro-implants will change reality as we know it.
You are not going that much outside are you? 😅 This is amazing seriously, great skills and pleasure to watch! I am gonna save it for later to rewatch when I will feel demotivated, thank you!

It only seems nauseating to us because it’s someone else’s viewpoint. But his brain is expecting all of these movements so it just seems natural.
Are you able to import this into Blender?
Yup. Gravity sketch can export as .obj as well as a few others
