Yosemite [4K UHD] | Mariposa Grove, Hetch Hetchy, Tuolumne Grove, Yosemite Valley, Hodgdon Meadow

🏞 In this episode we explore gorgeous Yosemite National Park. We explore multiple areas of the park, including the Tuolumne and Mariposa Groves of Giant Sequoias, Hetch Hetchy Valley and Reservoir, Mirror Lake, and many of the main attractions in Yosemite Valley.
⛺ We stayed in Hodgdon Meadow Campground and North Pines Campground. Both campgrounds are located inside the national park, with North Pines also being inside Yosemite Valley. Hodgdon Meadow is a convenient spot to reach Hetch Hetchy and Tuolumne Grove. It is a very hilly campground and difficult to level up in. Our site (140) in particular is oddly shaped to the point that we weren’t even sure where we were supposed to be parking. North Pines Campground has beautiful views and is conveniently located inside Yosemite Valley with easy access to the shuttle system and bike trails. Many of the sites in North Pines are small and campground roads are tight. Pay close attention to site size limitations when booking. An RV dump and water fill station are located at the nearby Upper Pines Campground. A word of caution…camp sites in Yosemite National Park are very competitive and difficult to book. Most sites are available 5 months ahead of time and fill within seconds. Additionally, there is a lottery for early booking at North Pines Campground, which is how we managed to get our spot there. Even the lottery is extremely competitive. Plan a backup in case you aren’t able to get a campsite inside the park.
