  • Now we need to disconnect the Speedometer Cable and the 2 electrical connectors to the backside of the Instrument Cluster. there isn't any slack in the speedometer cable so you'll have to reach from underneath the dash to get behind the panel and squeeze the white plastic quick-disconnect to pull the cable off the panel.

    Very well done.....I just wish you'd been working on a 1990 Ranger, as that's what I have....but your video still helped me!

    You do not need to take the steering column shroud off to get the instrument cluster out.

      Yes or you may brake the cluster as you pull it out also tilt the steering wheel down .get as much room as you can.
