If y’all are in the area for Christmas, I recommend seeing the Dumbarton Oaks Celtic Christmas performance or the Christmas performance at the National Cathedral by the Cathedral Choral Society. There’s also the water skiing Santa and elves in Alexandria. I also recommend catching a jazz performance at Blues Alley in Georgetown. And for art, outdoor sculpture, & architecture, I’d check out Glenstone in Potomac, MD. For outdoors, I recommend walking/hiking the Maryland side of the Potomac at Great Falls where you can watch kayakers navigate the rapids. If you are intrepid, you can try hiking the Billy Goat trail.
