Okay wow, this was actually amazing. You can really feel like the sense of like hatred in sadness in the song, especially with the game over theme playing in the instrumental. You can really just feel just like the emotions of two brothers cutting ties with each other. But anyways, yeah, I really enjoyed this mod and it might be my new favorite, 10/10

I also love the fact you play as Luigi,insinuating that Mario was the enemy or aggressor in this story. Being the youngest in my family there were a lot of people who preferred my brother over me and that could build up some if any resentment. Mario was always the main character, the older brother that others recognized and respected while Luigi sat in the shadows. There is something I need to say. This are the old vocals, which are from Mario’s Madness. The creator of Mario’s Madness doesn’t allow the chromatics to be used in other mods. And thus, the vocals were changed to the SMB Funk Mix vocals.
Actually the vocals were changed back because Kenny, the guy who gave out the chromatics, said it was ok in the comments of the vid with the SMB Funk Mix vocals, the MM vocals were added back into the mod alongside the funk mix vocals.
It seems they used GB's chromatic for Mario, Kenny said they were allowed to be used in covers but not for mods, I hope he doesn't get aware about this Taking that aside, I love how the song was composed, very touching, I love it
I appreciate this mod, like, a lot, and for many reasons. The calm and not so fast tone gives more of an "This is the end" vibe than a "This is only the beginning" vibe. I also like the fact that we play as Luigi and not Mario in the mod. It gives us time to see his side of things. Mario didn't need to hit him into the lava. He could've just walked away, or helped Luigi. He could've just accepted him. Lastly, I appreciate the attention to detail. The idea for the mod to be more faithful to the source material than the fnf style is a great detail and something I've seen AND liked before. Sure, the fnf style is good, but you can't go too wrong with the original.

mario looks like he's trying to act like he was the moral and upright one and that he feels nothing towards destroying luigi, while luigi looks like he's barely choking out hateful words towards mario, with nothing but spite and malice. sidepoint: there's two versions of the 'i hate you' mod. i consider these two perspectives, personally. there's one with an easier boss fight against luigi, where he gets knocked into the lava by accident, causing mario to break down crying. there's another with a much harder luigi fight where mario defeats luigi, then purposefully knocks him into the lava with a cape, feeling nothing. i believe these are the ways the two brothers tell the story, with the first one being mario's perspective to give him sympathy and make him look innocent (while making luigi look weak), with the second being luigi's perspective on how it really happened.
This song is so relatable to me because I wouldn't want to imagine losing my brother and/or hating him so much. Although my brother is 11 years older, him and I never argue and have pretty much the same viewpoints on everything. Hell, we even agree that Halo 5 sucked.

I appreciate this mod, like, a lot, and for many reasons. The calm and not so fast tone gives more of an "This is the end" vibe than a "This is only the beginning" vibe. I also like the fact that we play as Luigi and not Mario in the mod. It gives us time to see his side of things. Mario didn't need to hit him into the lava. He could've just walked away, or helped Luigi. He could've just accepted him. Lastly, I appreciate the attention to detail. The idea for the mod to be more faithful to the source material than the fnf style is a great detail and something I've seen AND liked before. Sure, the fnf style is good, but you can't go too wrong with the original.
luigi tried to kill him, and there are different versions one where luigi hits him first while mario is on the floor and the other where they fight, talking would not work as its not mario's fault that luigi is on his shadow as he didn't difamate rumors or push him back

I love the sprites. And they may even be a subtle hint at how they feel. Mario doesn’t have much about it change other than his eyes, like his body only gets squashed and stretched and only his eyes move.Showing he is standing his ground. Knowing he was in the right. While Luigi has more sprites with more stuff happening by. Like his hand moving further his free hand turning to a fist in his up sprite. Or his hand moving further from his side in his right.A little nod to show that he has more than one reason to have double crossed Mario. This is either a really smart decision by the devs or me rambling on about something.

I still can’t get over Luigi’s expression doing the right pose. His other poses, including his idle shows vitriolic hatred, but that right pose. That damn right pose, shows that despite the person he’s become, it shows Luigi may sort of have an once of guilt and regret from his actions.

the slower, more somber song really makes it feel like they're just trying to communicate their hatred for each other, while still having to remember the times they've had together. the "thank you for nothing" could be luigi trying to tell mario that even before he killed him, mario never really did anything for luigi.

mario looks like he's trying to act like he was the moral and upright one and that he feels nothing towards destroying luigi, while luigi looks like he's barely choking out hateful words towards mario, with nothing but spite and malice.
sidepoint: there's two versions of the 'i hate you' mod. i consider these two perspectives, personally. there's one with an easier boss fight against luigi, where he gets knocked into the lava by accident, causing mario to break down crying. there's another with a much harder luigi fight where mario defeats luigi, then purposefully knocks him into the lava with a cape, feeling nothing. i believe these are the ways the two brothers tell the story, with the first one being mario's perspective to give him sympathy and make him look innocent (while making luigi look weak), with the second being luigi's perspective on how it really happened.

This song is so relatable to me because I wouldn't want to imagine losing my brother and/or hating him so much. Although my brother is 11 years older, him and I never argue and have pretty much the same viewpoints on everything. Hell, we even agree that Halo 5 sucked.
I like the melancholic melody that they sing honestly.

Story: the backstory to this fnf mod is that it's a creepypasta. So, to this creepypasta, Luigi is tired of being Mario's sidekick and decides to join bowser's team.
Then some time later mario and Luigi meet on a bridge mario starts fighting Luigi the parts of the bridge start collapsing into the lava then mario accidentally pushes Luigi Into the lava and Luigi screaming in pain saying "OH GOD NO". Then after that since it was accidental mario starts crying after Luigis death.
But there is a twist. I'm not sure is either mario used a super star to grab Luigi out of the lava for somehow Luigi got out of the lava himself.

You got it all wrong my guy, if you watched IHateYou.EXE or even played it then basically luigi is trying to get rid of Mario due to his jealousy towards Mario getting all the credit and attention. Luigi is tired of being left out so that's the reason why he is so angry towards Mario.
