I dont think its just nostalgia. The look and feel of gamecube era light scifi games were just so charming. Custom robo, F-ZERO GX, Phantasy star online 2... I just really like the sharp style.
This game will always have a place close to my heart. When the news hit that Custom Robo was finally making it's western debut on the Gamecube, I could scarcely believe it. And then I got my hands on a copy, and instantly fell in love with the series. And the soundtrack really left me breathless.
I hope every day my little bros generation get this jewel. A switch and 3ds usa release would make it boom like pokemon, especially if it came with new features or even a good advertising campaign. It had well balanced gameplay and to boot it encouraged creativity with your builds. Found so many ways to outsmart my uncle when we had this game. Alas my old copy got ruined by said little bro.
This game is slept on i remeber playing this when i was a kid and this theme is so fucking slap. I will be playing other games and when ever i have to think of a solution or a plan this song pops up in my head. They dont mak games like they used to anymore
@@bobsaget1479 Dragon was pretty great, and Homing Star, Sword Storm, and the L/R Arc weapons were great too. Wave Pod was also great. Even Gatling held on for a long time. There's so many options in this game, some broken, some shitty, but so many options.
Please nintendo make a new custom robo game we can enjoy we all miss this awesome game. one of the best games of its time love this game, love its music, and its story was good too.
When you see the potential in this franchise not just small arenas but huge battlefields deeper customization gameplay enhancements it's really disappointing
@@RandyRandersonthefamousIMO, that would turn Custom Robo into a completely different franchise. There are mecha games that play more like you describe, but the gameplay at the heart of Custom Robo has always been a unique blend of JRPG and ranged arena fighter. It might be cool if a sequel played more like Dynasty Warriors Gundam or Armored Core, but then it wouldn’t play like Custom Robo. There isn’t anything quite like this game on the market at the moment, and that’s why it’s a shame that the franchise has been dead for so long.
Hi Remix, I still have the game on GameCube and yes i still have my GameCube working lol. Where did u find this picture? It so good but missing the chinese restaurant lol
Yeah looks like a completely new render but it could also just be promotional art. Would love to know where this came from too. I hope someone remasters this game
We desperately need another Custom Robo. God I miss this franchise.
there was just a magic to the sound design of the early 2000's
I've been ready for more than 6 years. Please Nintendo.
9 years...
@Base Bass Forte ..Impressive, since it didn't EXIST on the SNES, but on the N64. I've been a fan since this very entry.
10 years...
Trademark got canceled. Series is dead
@@rayzas4885 At least this means people can make fan games without Nintendo striking them
This game is probably the reason why I have a Gunpla addiction these days. Imprinting, I swear!

Thank you 😊
I wish NOISE would make a new Custom Robo game for the switch. I'd pre-order that shit.
I'd buy a Switch just for that!
I’m glad I’m still in possession of my GC copy, but hell yeah, I would buy a switch and pre-order that in a heart beat
I’ve been ready for a couple decades now! Come on and give us a new Custom Robo already Nintendo! What’s it gonna take?!
"Put this song in the cool fight game Mr. Soccer Eye man"
Howard Taft, 1806
Let Monolithsoft make a Custom Robo game. That'd be the knees of bees.
Still play this from time to time, tho on my Gamecube emulator nowadays. Such a fun game man.
I remember every day I'd come in from school and play this for hours. The dragon gun was so fucking OP

Apparently there’s even a discord for Custom Robo netplay.
Gosh I love this game so much. I wish we'd get more

2021!
GC時代は個性的なゲームが多く、同時にBGMも個性的で脳内に残る。
このカスタムロボBRもそうですが、他にもF-ZERO GX、カービィのエアライドとかもBGMが芸術なんよ。
Pick your parts wisely...

Customizing my robo for 1 hour straight coming up with new strats. Lol. OKAY. Now I'm ready...wait but how about?...😂
