The inspiration for Get Back Inc's Vintage Industrial style originally came from the flea markets in Manhattan. Get Back Inc's founder Tim Byrne had an immediate attachment to the industrial pieces that he occasionally saw there. His vision was not to resell the pieces, but to restore these items to their original glory. Tim especially loves the castings, made at a time when labor was cheap but material was expensive. The detail and craftsmanship is just not found today; it's too expensive to put the time into the design and manufacturing of these pieces now.
Often these items were being thrown into scrap yards, a whole piece of America that was being discarded. When Tim saw these pieces initially, he knew he had a rare concept -- a style that is not technically an antique, but a look that is so different, which can be used for it's original purpose. Get Back's drive is to provide Vintage Industrial furniture & lighting that, in addition to it's beauty and functionality, are pieces of our American heritage that can be passed on to future generations.
Watch the video to see some of the American Industrial history that inspired Tim to start a company that has brought a whole new style to the architectural and design world.

Love it all. I would like to see the restoration process. That would be interesting. Any videos available on this subject? Thanks for sharing.
