An airplane video and a War of the Worlds reference all in one...my life is complete!
:D! You made my day with that comment :)
@@GenkisTravels I love War of the Worlds! It was my favorite movie for years. To this day I still watch all the tripod scenes from time to time
Wow, wine for breakfast...very good. I am somewhat amazed that with that thick of a fog bank, you all departed SLC without holding for a tad longer. Fog does clear but that seemed a bit expensive when they could have held rather than diverting and yes, I have been on flights that diverted. My first trip to Europe--Copenhagen from Anchorage--had fog so we ended up in Stavanger, Norway and oh was that a pretty area with the sun just coming up. Also been on a AA flight out of DFW that aborted shortly after our takeoff roll due to an ineffective light! I love to fly and have been around the world 3 times! Thanks for the memories!
Deicing isn't just a Utah thing. If there's frost on the the wings or snow during winter, that happens across the entire country.
Redmond, OR has a very similar topography as extreme west Texas as you head towards El Paso, TX. I haven't been to Redmond, OR.
That’s a good comparison. It was strange seeing it in Oregon. Lol
Thanks for watching!
I never had got diverted yet for my flight yet
This was my first major one. I wouldn't recommend. Haha
In row 4 you won't get a meal choice, they have equal numbers of entrees and run out in row 2. Then you are stuck with the veg choice.
This flight is where I learned my lesson to not sit all the way back (I usually did to try to get a window seat). Thanks for the feedback! :)
You can pre-order your entree choice now
As a flight attendant my advice is to preorder your meals if possible or sit in rows 1 or 2.
As long-time Oregonians, we avoid early morning departures OR arrivals at PDX (Portland) AND MFR (Medford). Both are notorious for "unpredictable" (not!) dense morning fog -- ESPECIALLY from November to April. "Local knowledge" strikes again!
I seriously wished I knew that then haha that was a nightmare!
Mistyping error in the title ... You wrote PDX instead of SLC, and SEA instead of PDX ;)
Whoops! Fixed :) Thx for looking out :)
News flash. Non of Alaska’s planes have in seat entertainment.
