He was a great drummer. But this drumming wasn't done in one take, or even in one studio. Different studios were used to get the right sounds.

@@ejeieeidjjdorri609 I used to buy Beat Instrumental, a magazine read by the stars back in the day. Apart from articles, it had recording studio adverts, etc. But you can hear that it wasn't done in one take. Different areas in a studio were used to get the right sound. For Sheer Heart Attack, one studio was used for backing tracks, and another studio for overdubs. Taylor wouldn't have played it all in one go, having the luxury of doing it in bits, striving for perfection.
