My tip: stock the freezer with a bag of frozen peas to sit on and keep a squirt bottle in the toilet to use warm water to clean yourself instead of toilet paper. Just for the first weeks as you heal. Also: accept offers of food and help. Enjoy the sweet precious weeks when you first get home. It is so special.

My baby was a very “average” size at birth- 7lbs 4oz. She is 5 months and just outgrew her newborn stuff. So I would definitely get some in that size!

Once upon a child has good baby clothes! They have good sales and deals most of the time. In my area, you can get 10 onesies any size and color for $5 or occasionally they do fill a bag of onesies for $10

I've been banging my leg on my sister's bed frame all weekend as I babysit. Breathing through instead of cursing is hard ha and I don't even cuss haha.
The 20 week scan is always so astonishing! You just see every body part and you finally feel like a real human in you! I saw my baby’s jaw bone at 20 weeks and I said he has my jaw. Then he was born and yes he has my jaw!! Haha
so surreal, especially seeing their little hearts beating. unreal ❤️
At my 20 weeks, I saw my baby yawn and then proceed to suck it’s thumb…that’s when it hit me that this is a real human in me 😆

It's so nicet to be a part of your pregnancy journey. A lot has changed since I had my last baby 32 years ago. Thank you for sharing . I have an amazing taco sauce recipe to share with anyone who might be interested. I got it from another one of my favorite channels, Farmhouse On The Boone and that sweet lady is pregnant with her 7th blessing
Happy your scan went well! My anatomy scan was last week and baby was good but they saw I had a short cervix so I ended up having an emergency cerclage surgery

i haven’t been around here in a while but i love that you mentioned trying to memorize scripture. i totally agree that it’s a fantastic tool for us to have as we go through life! there’s an app simply called “verses” that helps with memorizing scripture. there’s different “games” and things to help with memorization. i think it might be like $5/year or something but to me it’s worth it!! just thought i’d share 😊
