I just stumbled on your profile, believe me, its not because i am Nigerian, you are so correct in all your analysis, and i genuinely love you and you've honestly got the Nigerian accent, maybe you should come to Nigeria sometime if you haven't already, i love everything about you, God bless you
Good day my sister. I am a Nigerian living in the US. You're an amazing person. Keep up the good work. When I saw you the first time, I thought you are a Calabar girl from Cross River State, Nigeria. Nevertheless, Nigeria and Western Cameroon are the same. I hope one of these days, you move to Nigeria. Great future with NAIJA followers.
U are just so enlightened and very good at what u do. We quarrel every day as Nigerians and as humans, but making money and achieving things usually brings us together.
Lyonga truly you're a darling your presentation is class.I want you to understand that, natural talent differs from learning to be like, it can't be original,in naigeria we say, you can't teach an old man new tricks, and a lion can't give birth to a goat. With love from AKWA IBOM state naigeria.
The truth is that Nigerians also quarrel within themselves. Infact, in Nigeria, we treat foreigners better than fellow Nigerians. However, we have the hustling spirit and always strive for perfection.
Nigeria is a large, complex, diverse and pluralistic nation. But our motto is "unity in diversity". Amidst the competition between our various parts, we still find a cordial way of collaborating in the entertainment and business industry to make money because money has no tribe, religion, language and colour. Again, despite our differences, Nigerians mix up socially as friends in public functions, clubs, etc, and also intermarry. Our diversity is our strength. Other African countries can learn from the Nigerian experience in that aspect of life.
But the question we should ask ourselves is...Do they want to be part of 9ja? Personally, I think they might not want to since they are struggling to get their own country "Ambazonia" from the rest of Cameroon.
Nigerians will not only export our culture - music(Afrobeat(s), movies(Nollywood), food, fashion, comedy - to the rest of the world but will also adopt and improve upon other people's entertainment products.. We have entered into Amapiano and added the Nigerian flavor to it, A Nigerian is the new sensation in Country music here in the US, the music White people love the most, integral part of their culture. Check out Shaboozey, stage name, an Igbo boy. His A Bar Song (Tipsy) is the Country music of the summer, and his other music. I think the way forward for other African entertainment industries is to adopt the Nigerian package, make Nigeria culture the African culture, just like the Americas do with Hollywood, and then bring in their own products into the mix. You can't have a Ghanaian, Cameroonian, Congolese, Tunisian and even S African entertainment industry separate, distinct and in competition with what Nigeria has created in Nigeria and doing outside Nigeria
Mali, Burkina Faso and Niger arent puppet states not like Nigeria. So NO African culture not be Nigerian culture. You are historic and current traitors of Africa.
