Literally left yesterday’s game wondering what I’m doing that i keep rolling over. This video was much needed🙏

Good video. The mental hack I use for "staying connected" is keeping my "back elbow in" or "back elbow tight to the chest" during the swing. It helps me from casting and it helps me hit with the good part of the bat.

Best video I’ve seen explaining how and why. Great delivery. Easy for youth players to understand. 🥇

in grip, I have found success with the split the difference starts. However, my bottom hand I use only my finger and on my top hand I do bury the handle into my thumb/ finger "U". It has helped me avoid rolling over as my hands simply can't. The only way to roll over is to break my elbow and if it that early on a pitch, no way I'm hitting it either way :)

A lot of the 'post contact' information is so that the 'pre-contact' moves are correct. Naturally, nothing *after* contact matters but post contact instruction allows you to get in the right pre-contact positions. Sometimes you need to over-exaggerate a 'move', especially for young kids. ie; of course you don't want to chop down at a ball, but you must first instill in a child's mind, not to drop their hands. It's easier to work backwards from a chop then to try and remove a bad habit of dropping their hands. All kids are different, though, and all need a different approach to get to the same destination.

I think these are some of the too instructional baseball videos period! They do a great job walking through the drills but also explaining the areas the drills will improve and how. My son has been rolling over the ball and this video and drills has helped tremendously. Thanks so much and keep em coming kid!

Ultimate Baseball Training my coaches said I don’t use my legs and every time I make the throw from 3rd to 1st it never makes to 1st baseman and he has to scoop it up. Any tips

8u daughter hits better than every single person on her team but she hits all balls during or often rolling over. It drives me nuts but I’m worried to address it because she’s making consistent contact.
