I’m an excavator operator and I can tell this guy does pretty good job! He has soli ready to load right next to the truck loading spot so the swing range is minimum. He rolls bucket cylinder just minimum and move without falling it. He operate machine smoothly and has forward thinking Good job mate!
I agree. I’ve watched some of the other videos on you tube with operators running million dollar or more excavators. That can’t even fill there bucket. They Curl it in to far. And still pulling the material in to the track’s.
@@kristofersigurjonsson424 I used to get $7500 for a month on average in Sydney as a demo operator .Now I changed my job three years ago and am working as a architect builder in Japan. Btw I’m a Japanese. I trained my demolition skill in Japan and went to Sydney then my salary hugely shot up.

Didn't watch the whole video as an experienced operator I don't have to. This guy is smooth, I don't see any extra time wasting movements, nice short swing cycle, perfect bench height and to watch his bucket curls, absolutely no wasted movement there even I probably curl more than that, he's just curling enough to get the material to the truck without sloppy spillage. The only thing I would do differently and it's nothing to do with the operator, I would double bench and load off both sides would allow him and the excavator coming behind him to take much larger chunks in a pass, maybe they don't have the trucks to keep them loading in a double bench situation.

Depends on what your looking at doing, his is an earth moving job, its easier then it looks as that dozer is doing all the leveling as it's following an engineers targets.

You are right, but you live from 8 to 12 hours in your cabin. Without shoes your are more comfortable and very clean. You won't inhale dust all day long.

Awesome how you don’t have to move. In my field I constantly have to get off my mound, create a flat bench and load the bobcats
I usually get the bobcat or dozer to go over the mound to make it flat

He was side loading but has reached the end of the cut so has to reverse the trucks in.

fov makes it seem closer than it is. also the mining setup does not have a lot of reach as its tailored for power. shorter stick, bigger bucket etc
