Doing the garnish on home cocktails really levels up the home drinks game. These are awesome. Totally going to use the cucumber and orange ones. Thanks!
Umm. Yeah. A couple matcha recipes would be delicious. There's a punch recipe on Liquor.com that involves sesame- and green tea-infused vodka and matcha that was...okay. TOTR could probably spruce it up a bit.
@@TrufflesOnTheRocks Sadly none soon, we're in really strict COVID lockdown so can't film for another 6 weeks at least! Plenty of time to practice I guess. When we can though, I've got a drink I need to make that I could use your help with. Let me know if you're interested!
Behind the Bar are you serious? This is so sad? Do you have back up videos? I’d be delighted to collab or help or whatever ... hit me up in DM, I’m curious! Cheers
@@TrufflesOnTheRocks Yeah, it's a little crazy here at the moment. Luckily we did a big shoot last week before this stage of lockdown was announced, so we should be okay 🤞. Will be in touch soon!
This was amazing! The match decoration is astonishing! So "YES" I would love to see the match and vanilla Grasshopper recipe! Have a great weekend and take care!
Hey Jack! It's homemade white cacao liqueur, Homemade mint & milk liqueur, cream and a pinch of matcha. Delish. Will make the tutorial when the weather will get a bit colder I promise ;) Cheers!
Dope vid🤘🤘 my garnish game has always been pretty weak and I'm trying to improve on it! This videos dope and I can't wait to try these out and throw some more cocktails on my channel! Thanks for sharing! I'll tag ya up when I get around to making videos again. ☺️ 🥂 Cheers!
What knife are you using and how do you find using a carbon steel one with that much citrus? Getting a new knife for work and can't decide between carbon and stainless.
Carbon blades are definitely harder to maintain... kind of. It oxydize fast but stay sharper longer Stainless is probably the best for work because of that but it really comes down to you ability to sharpen it I guess.
Just because I'm slightly pedantic with math - 360 degrees is a full rotation, but your rotation was one and a half rotation. That would be 540 degrees. Thanks for the great garnish instructions though!
I had the feeling I had this wrong but wait... both tips are next to each other’s when I start and when I stop they are back together... that’s 360 for me lol ... arghhh I’m confused
@@TrufflesOnTheRocks rotations are confusing for everyone. But, at 4:29 the ends start out apart from each other, and then they end up next to each other in the end. Maybe you don't think of picking up the peel with both ends pointing up as a rotation and that might be what's confusing.

Best garnish video. Period. Classy, easy, doable.. perfection! Please make some more!

Garnishes on point! The matcha one seems like it would be pretty messy to drink...looks awesome though
If you don't over do it, it's not a prob. I made dehydrated fruit powder too. Was very cool.

That matcha garnish is not the best idea 😅 considering how strong matcha is
That matcha power "garnish" is so useless and messy. Maybe it works for instagram, but please dont ever give me that glass at a bar lol
