PORSCHE 912- Figuring out the Electrical System.

Before I begin installing anything else on the car I need to figure out what is the state of the wiring harness, gauges, lights and relays. As well as continue painting the body and fixing any other hidden damage I find.

What is all the black stuff you covered the bare metal in? is it POR15?

So I used POR15 undercoating and rustoleum undercoat I think for underneath and inside the car.

I think you might have invested the rear position light and turn signal bulbs. The turn signal should be the outer lights and the position lights is closer to the license plate. Those should be the dual spade light holders that do position lights and brake lights as well. The reverse light is actuated by a pin in the transmission, and you should be able to check them by connecting the two wires that go to that switch
