WD 40 Rust Test...Will It Help Slow Down Rust From Getting Worse?

funny i also spray some small wheel well rust spots on my grand caravan. i heavily spray it once per week and over the past year and a half it has not progressed much at all. i think there are better rust inhibitors than wd40 but frequency is the key. i also see the color change.
