You are a key in a world of keys, and the only locks are in another dimension, a thought without a body to act through.
Oh also they torture and corrupt each other as they do other mortals. In the Masques backstory, it directly states Slaanesh felt despair and anger when defeated by Khorne and Nurgle. Demons are not immune to each other’s corruption.
Depends on the demon I think for sure. Ya definitely can have a terrible time. With that said I am not sure if they can even feel all emotions. Seems to me they are even more unique compared to others. Being a warp entity made from being content would be dope! Probably the rarest of all emotions so it would be weak but you wouldn't give two shits would ya?! Being a demon born of rage or desperation would blow.
I hope one day we will get a short story set in Gue'vesa'rio, the human world of the Enclaves. Something similar to the short story, "Voice of Experience", a tale about a Gue'vesa living in the Nem'yar Atoll on the other side of the Startide Nexus.

Even the some of the worst quality of life for Eldar is still pretty good. Sure most members of Altansar have PTSD and are very paranoid about daemons, but they still get to live on a craftworld and are no longer in the eye of terror.
League of Votan is a good faction due to getting an ironkin bot to aid in labor, good tech all around ( not the best, just good), and mining asteroids in the void. Not bad for a grimdark universe
Chaos Votann are Canon Envy and Fear of Death/Old Age are great motivators for joining Chaos Chaos corruption is like a nighmarish disease. Countless Votann have succumbed to it

Could be nice. But they are far from the eldar’s best warriors. Just guerrilla fighters who really don’t want you on their world. Even the dark Eldar consider too much of a pain most of the time. And they’re the ones who have the most incentive to capture them.
The problem is we are attempting to put a human standard onto the alien Orks. Go faster, more dakka, build bigger, experimental surgery, and krump anything that wants to fight all bring joy to Orks. Being able to eat almost anything, survive almost any environment, and being able to shrug off horrible wounds is a big leg up on a universe that seems out to kill you.
I can't tell if it's old lore that has been retconned since, but I quite vividly remember reading that Tyranid Warriors and all subspecies above them in the synaptic hierarchy are sentient/ counscious/ self-aware and considerably smarter than the average human or even their equivalent (middle rank officiers) in most of the other playable factions. Their intellect is on par with a space marine and the hive mind has to actively decide to supress their individuality when it needs to but it usually doesn't. They even make tactical decisions on-the-go and transmit orders to nearby tyranids that came from them instead of the higher intelligence. But I read that lore back when Tyranid Warriors could be picked as HQ units on the tabletop and I didn't keep up with the lore changes for a couple of years so I might have missed a retcon. If this is still the case, though, you would automatically be one of those in the scenario of this video as you would see the inferior, mindless subspecies like gaunts in a similar way humans see pets or cattle, or the Tau see kroot hounds, so not eligible for this scenario. Then I think the standard of living would fall in the average compared to the other factions... until you won on the specific planet you were meant to invade and the hive mind makes you suicide to be transported to the next world-prey.

Honestly the elder are probably the only faction that i would accept (except for the dark elder) due to the fact that they have a better living conditions, better food, and even a better lifestyle, hell i wouldn't even mind betraying the imperium to help the elder out even going as far as too kicking them out of the maiden worlds they took over putting me on good relations with them and being allowed to be trained by them and live amongst them as equals.

I thought about this before and I finally came to the conclusion that I would definitely be an ork. The question being what faction would I be, not what I would live in as me. Ork live in a brutal, violent and terrifying existence that I would last about 30 seconds in, but in this scenario I am not me I am an ork, and as an ork I am just having a blast. Tyranids are not some terrifying monsters that are a constant source of dread and fear to the point of going insane. They are just new friends to krump and have fun with. To an ork all the terrifying factions and brutality in the universe are just fun and friends really. The 40k universe would just be a big playground.
I would have to agree with the Eldar. Craftworld life would not be so bad and neither would Exodite, those guys need a buff. Then again part of me thinks the Dark Eldar would be so much fun.
Except if your soul stone is destroyed you get eaten by Slaanesh unless your a Ynnari or Harlequin. Given that eventually there is a serious risk of Slaanesh attacking your soul stone unless Ynnead or Chegorach wins over Slaanesh.

Hey Majorkill, I just had a thought and wanted to ask a question. I believe it was in one of your videos about perpetual, but you said that Vulkan getting killed repeatedly may have improved his regeneration like a muscle. If this is the case, do you think it is possible that the Emporer's regeneration in it's constant struggle against the golden throne could improve to the point where he would be able to begin healing whilst on the throne? Or was that muscle like reaction something unique to Vulkan's perpetual identity, or that as the Emporer's regeneration improves the golden throne increases its suction of life to keep the balance? Just a thought.

Not to mention you would be a great fighter, as every fight makes you bigger, stronger and smarter. I mean you don’t get to choose what race or faction you’re born into. You just play the cards you’re dealt. But if such a thing were possible, I’d say the Eldar. Despite being on the verge of extinction, full of lament, and obsessed with future gazing to the point where it does more harm than good. You live in a well crafted and maintained society that actually cares about you. You can pick your career and enjoy it for decades or centuries if you like before switching to another. You get fresh food can travel almost anywhere through the webway. You also get soul stones to keep you from falling to chaos whenever you perish.
I feel like the orks have the best relative standard of living because either they're happy tinkering away, or they're always angry, and they love being angry, so really they're always happy, no matter what's going on lol
As I understand it, everyone in Nurgle's realm feels the love and camaraderie of their father and kin, always. They revel in their nature, and enjoy unfettered safety and life (and decay, which they dig). I'd argue that standard of living is best measured by the health, safety and happiness of a population, and almost everyone in Nurgle's Garden are immortal, safe, happy and content.
The Necrons by far have the best standard of living. No starvation or dehydration, mostly honorable leaders, very generous nap times, no unnecessary torture or painful rituals to appease any Gods, and every individual is important. Sure, some are crazy or mindless, but I’d take being numb over getting violated by Slaanesh or turned into a giant infected sore by Nurgle any day of the week.

Which itself is not bad. Problem is that over time they lost the A.I. starts getting slow and starts to fall into conflicts with itself and the tech they used to fix that stuff was lost So now their A.I. are very "quirky" and can take centuries to give out a solution to a request. Most human souls do not get devoured by daemons in the Warp when they die. That is misunderstanding of what happens to those corrupted by Chaos. The way to think of what happens when an average human soul is the drop becomes the ocean. Meaning when human soul enters the Warp, they become part of the Sea of Souls and are no longer conscious of what's going on. They become part of the Warp and are unaffected or interacted with by Chaos entities.
No one has ever been able to tell specifically tell me why life for Tau is worst than my life. Got 75% to not be in the fire cast and military life. Everything else is unquestionably grim dark hell hole. All of humanity always is the most villainous thing ever imagined. Eldar are hinted to be even worst. Empire of man is so bad; that I would turn to chaos. Tau? Propaganda! Sure, but how is my individual life worst?
I'd rather be in the fire caste than the water caste honestly. Being sent as a diplomat in a galaxy in which NONE of the other species is interested in anything other than the total extemination and genocide of your entire species is just depressing. I'd rather die with a gun in my hands.
As human i would rather lives among the T'au rather directly in the imperium....best would be Farsight enclaves. I would even prefer to live among the Votann rather than imperium. My reasoning is that i most likely end in hive worlds which isnt good even if you are more in the upper echolon except maybe the superrich. Another aspect that many ignore is that among the T'au arent any genestealer cults. Of course everything change if i was born among the superrich. On maiden world i would be a target for the eldar, well lets forget the other factions.

Honestly the elder are probably the only faction that i would accept (except for the dark elder) due to the fact that they have a better living conditions, better food, and even a better lifestyle, hell i wouldn't even mind betraying the imperium to help the elder out even going as far as too kicking them out of the maiden worlds they took over putting me on good relations with them and being allowed to be trained by them and live amongst them as equals.

Thing is, once you earn that honour you have to keep proving you're worthy of it. All it takes is one slip and then oops, chaos spawn.
I thought about this before and I finally came to the conclusion that I would definitely be an ork. The question being what faction would I be, not what I would live in as me. Ork live in a brutal, violent and terrifying existence that I would last about 30 seconds in, but in this scenario I am not me I am an ork, and as an ork I am just having a blast. Tyranids are not some terrifying monsters that are a constant source of dread and fear to the point of going insane. They are just new friends to krump and have fun with. To an ork all the terrifying factions and brutality in the universe are just fun and friends really. The 40k universe would just be a big playground.

Except if your soul stone is destroyed you get eaten by Slaanesh unless your a Ynnari or Harlequin. Given that eventually there is a serious risk of Slaanesh attacking your soul stone unless Ynnead or Chegorach wins over Slaanesh.

Hey Majorkill, I just had a thought and wanted to ask a question. I believe it was in one of your videos about perpetual, but you said that Vulkan getting killed repeatedly may have improved his regeneration like a muscle. If this is the case, do you think it is possible that the Emporer's regeneration in it's constant struggle against the golden throne could improve to the point where he would be able to begin healing whilst on the throne? Or was that muscle like reaction something unique to Vulkan's perpetual identity, or that as the Emporer's regeneration improves the golden throne increases its suction of life to keep the balance? Just a thought.

Sure, you've got plenty of enemies and rivals, but all you need to do is find a bigger and stronger ork and latch onto him. Orks are fighting 90% of the time, but the last 10% is spent building, digging or having a good time. Orks don't have laws, so you can do whatever you want. Not to mention you would be a great fighter, as every fight makes you bigger, stronger and smarter. Also, your new ork brain would be flooded with dopamine when charging those gun lines, so just use a bit of cunning and get past them 5head
You'll be constantly humiliated and beaten unless you became more vicious and stronger than the others and then you'll still have to constantly prove that you're the top dog as every other orks will want your place either by dueling you or backstabbing you.

As I understand it, everyone in Nurgle's realm feels the love and camaraderie of their father and kin, always. They revel in their nature, and enjoy unfettered safety and life (and decay, which they dig).
I'd argue that standard of living is best measured by the health, safety and happiness of a population, and almost everyone in Nurgle's Garden are immortal, safe, happy and content.

The Necrons by far have the best standard of living. No starvation or dehydration, mostly honorable leaders, very generous nap times, no unnecessary torture or painful rituals to appease any Gods, and every individual is important. Sure, some are crazy or mindless, but I’d take being numb over getting violated by Slaanesh or turned into a giant infected sore by Nurgle any day of the week.
a slight correction on the ork society, they do not collect their own or the teeth of other orks but instead also collect stuff like large size chaos monsters and nids, atleast in ork society the concept of greed doesnt exist and inflation struggles to exist.
to live in the Tau Empire (as a Human) would still be a liiiiitle nicer than as a servitor ...

Wait, I heard an youtuber say that their A.I. is not functioning properly because when they needed I to do something they eoukd copy ir, transport said copy to where it needed to be bring it back and merge it with the original.
Which itself is not bad. Problem is that over time they lost the A.I. starts getting slow and starts to fall into conflicts with itself and the tech they used to fix that stuff was lost
So now their A.I. are very "quirky" and can take centuries to give out a solution to a request. Think running multiple instances of the same program in your computer and they all are trying to accomplish the same task.

Most human souls do not get devoured by daemons in the Warp when they die. That is misunderstanding of what happens to those corrupted by Chaos. The way to think of what happens when an average human soul is the drop becomes the ocean. Meaning when human soul enters the Warp, they become part of the Sea of Souls and are no longer conscious of what's going on. They become part of the Warp and are unaffected or interacted with by Chaos entities.
Id agree on eldar, if not for the forever slaneesh's plaything if you die without a soulstone bit.
No one has ever been able to tell specifically tell me why life for Tau is worst than my life. Got 75% to not be in the fire cast and military life.
Everything else is unquestionably grim dark hell hole. All of humanity always is the most villainous thing ever imagined. Eldar are hinted to be even worst. Empire of man is so bad; that I would turn to chaos.

As human i would rather lives among the T'au rather directly in the imperium....best would be Farsight enclaves. I would even prefer to live among the Votann rather than imperium. My reasoning is that i most likely end in hive worlds which isnt good even if you are more in the upper echolon except maybe the superrich. Another aspect that many ignore is that among the T'au arent any genestealer cults. Of course everything change if i was born among the superrich.
On maiden world i would be a target for the eldar, well lets forget the other factions.
I want to play Warhammer so bad but have no idea where to start, i just keep watching these videos. Maybe one day I'll just be a loremaster to a game Ive never played 😅
