Love this build - very cradle to cradle. Hopefully the school makes this required watching for all incoming freshman drummers! Still amazed at your amount of steadiness with your interior routing jig. Two variations and mine still bounces. Can't wait for the next keep them coming!
Looking really good. I love what you have been doing with the vent holes. That's a great solution and so much better than the grommets you can buy, which I find to be way too expensive for what they are, a fancy hole.
you all probably dont care but does anybody know of a tool to get back into an Instagram account? I stupidly forgot the password. I would appreciate any help you can offer me.
@Erik Brooks I really appreciate your reply. I found the site through google and im trying it out now. Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will get back to you later with my results.
Love the videos and all the information. Consider muting the camera audio during sped up parts when a tool is running. Chipmunk table saw isn't very pleasant to listen to.
There are two really funny technical gadgets on woodworking on youtube I like: one is the cam on a table saw sled and the other is this micky mouse sound
Hi Joseph, impressive how fast you proceed! Coming just from sawung and glueing staves upstairs and - yeah, new video cut 😀 I like the look of the "segment/stave" drum out of different wood types very much and to fill with epoxy instead of mixed with sawdust seems for me to give a better fixation. Your air vent drilling with Forstner and crown drill is nice - I never found a crown drill that fits to the Forstner - does it work the other way round? Man, that ply is really thick! And I completely follow you with the thickness of about half of an inch - the pitch is lower and it sounds warmer. When you have installed hardware - can you please compare with any other of your drums? I suppose there can no difference been heard because of the different wood types.

awesome project. you inspire me so much dude. God bles
I think the shell looks good with the different woods and with the staggered pattern. It will make them unique. Great work!
Enjoying this, is there going to be an episode 4 with the finished product?
