@@Nero-ex1cs As the other guy said in the previous comment, the cost of production of a Rolex watch is pretty close to its retail price and their watches are made out of precious metals entirely in Switzerland, unlike those Amalgam models which are made out of a low quality resin and are assembled in China, costing literally less than 10% than their unrealistic retail prices!
@@Yasser.Abuharba bruh, the guy literally said "we use automotive paint and accurate materials where possible" and it's handcrafted too, this brand is well established in the automotive world
@@Yasser.Abuharba have you watched the video? He basically said in about two minutes that it is made in the UK usung real automotive paints and materials from the best quality to create accurate models and they took hours to make to be as real as possible...
@@Antonio88870 This is all just a promotional talk, here u go a link of their official website where it is addressed that they have 3 workshops in UK, Hungary, and China (this is mentioned under the amalgam team paragraph): www.amalgamcollection.com/pages/about?currency=USD I have contacted Amalgam the other day and the representative had admitted that most of the manufacturing process like the assembly and the molding takes place in China, with Hungary being dedicated for the paint-job and the UK workshop only inspect the models and give the final approval, while I appreciate his honesty and transparency, all I'm trying to say the cost of each model is far away from the MSRP, their models are unimaginably overpriced, and the "best quality" part is just a promotional talk too, we're not talking about models made out of Carbon Fiber or Aerospace grade aluminum, the base materials of the models is low grade resin, only with Amalgam models where I've seen in a number of different occasions extremely damaged and basically broken 1/18 and 1/8 scale models offered for sale on eBay, I have never seen that with competitive high end car models brands like MR collection!

Calling these "toy cars" is quite an insult to be honest.
It's an extremely baiting title that's for sure!
£150,000? Might as well get a decent real car with that!
Amalgam cars are still better than Rolex and other overpriced watches.
