I Purchased One of these and it doesn't work at ALL . they only look good on video .
Hmm, I'm thinking it may be broken? I've heard these on many boards, played a few, and it still stands up to most wahs around today.
I watched several of his videos, including the beautiful re-readings (with Blueridge - I also play a Blueridge, BR180). Congratulations on the extreme musicality, good taste and, of course, the impeccable timbres!
Wow, great to hear, thanks for watching and for the appreciation. A
Well I can.
Hey there Andy, thx for the vid! This thing really does sound amazing! Question, is there any delay in the wah sound when engaging/turning wah on?? Thanks again brother and Rock On!!
HamsterSpanks Hi there, thanks for watching. No, not in my experience, you just rock it forward onto the switch and its on. It's actually a much softer touch to turn it on than other wahs I've had, but that may just be the way this one's set up
Andy Charles Thank you man! I read a review were someone was having that issue. Im gonna pull the trigger tomorrow. It just sounds too good not too. Ive been gigging for 20 years plus....I can tell your just lovin' on this baby! Like you just dont want to stop playing! I know these kind of things!...Blessings brother!
HamsterSpanks No problem at all man. I bought mine after using a friend's one, and it was just as amazing as mine. So rest assured its a great purchase, have fun
THE FUCKERY TONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
:^)
I see the old Crybaby wah, left on the floor. I was thinking about changing to this wah - ( instead of my Fulltone Clyde Deluxe 2009 ) which I Love. Sounds great.
Michael Caz That's an old standard cheap crybaby that I modified with True Bypass and a Yellow fasel, I was using it for ages and sounds great, but the Xotic is a monster. I hear the Fulltones are amazing as well
Thanks. I would love to see someone do a Thorough ( and fair ) Comparison between the CAE 404, Fulltone Clyde Deluxe and the Xotic.
Michael Caz I think there is a video on UA-cam that show exactly that, comparing 5 or 6 wahs I think. Have a little look for it
Yes. I saw that one. It starts with a Mini Crybaby. Thanks. I was hoping to see an in-depth " head to head " as Im convinced that they are The 2 Best Wah Pedals ( possibly CAE 404 or Wilson - too )
Michael Caz Yes I think you're right, they really are two of the best, I was considering other options when I tried out a friend's Xotic wah and I was so blown away, I bought one the next day
Wah before the drive?
Yes, always for me. Get nasty EQ spikes over wise.
Awesome sound. You’ve given me faith the Xotic can do ‘organic’
@@petecovingtonmusic Absolutely, one of my favourite pedal companies for sure
@@AndyCharlesMusic great video! glad to see another Blackstone in the wild. Do you set it to buffered mode as its coming after the wah?
Love how vocal it is....just got a mxr/cae wah. Maybe this is next!
The Tone Ranger I was either going to go with the CAE or Xotic but tried a friend's Xotic and it was so good I had to get it
What settings did u use for this wah pedal id like to try it on mine
Jordan Henson All stock, with the Q at 1 o'clock and treble down to 11 o'clock
Great ad for ????? wah pedal. Help anyone, what is it?
It is the Xotic XW-1 Wah, its killer 🙂
