Great thing about the CRUX35 is I get 16 minutes of this style of flying with a 4s 850 pack while the 4s 450's delivery a solid 12 minutes.

I was shocked with the flight time! Im sure if i hadnt stoped from having cold fingers it would easily hit 16mins as you said, and its already super agile and powerful compared to the bassline thats 2inch 2s, with a lightweight 450mah im sure it rips!

I mean it might just about get off the ground, but no i dont think it would be flyable, the crux is designed to be light and efficient, not carry weight unfortunately, your best option is the thumb pro

Check out my other videos on the bassline, its an amazing little quad, you'll love it 😁 and this is amazing too, i wouldnt recomend running a camera on the bassline though, it will fly but it doesn't like the extra weight

I have two of the v1 hd versions. I switched one to a top mount battery and really love the flight characteristics. I put an 03 air unit on the other and had to drop the props to 3" to fit the tpu camera mount. I have done a slow test flight around the yard which felt pretty smooth. Taking it to a park this morning to see how she really flies.

Im loving mine so far, ive used it to film some cinematic videos, freestyle and some mid range flights (about 1.3km) its such a sick rig, can do a bit of everything really well 😁

Hello friend, nice videos, I have a question for you, I have a crux35 v2, eachine ev800d glasses with foxxer pagoda (rhcp) pro antenna, and the serial patch, but the video always seems to be at 25mw, it has very little range Do you have any recommendations, for me, I already checked in betaflight and it is at 400mw, it has the vtx ovx306, thanks.

I use the stock omni antena and the airmx hemispherical patch and have flown over a km out with these LOS

Elrs all day, honestly the only time i would even suggest frsky, is if it was for an indoor drone, saying that, even my 1s and 2s quads still even run elrs

What you prefer crux 35 v2 or baby ape 2 and why?

Ive only owned the crux so i cant give you a direct comparison, but my friend has the baby ape, i'd say baby ape for pure freestyle, crux is a good all rounder, its decent at freestyling, is very light and efficient so can fly for up to 20 mins on an 1100mah 4s so is great for mid range flights, (i fly over 1km away from myself almost every time i fly mine 🤣 so basically for a first drone id recomend the crux so you can try a few different styles of flying :)

Plug and unplug the battery 3 times, but leave it plugged in the third time, drone should start flashing after a few seconds, then just hit bind on your transmitter, as long as the quad and transmitter are running the same version of elrs it should bind, if theres a bind phrase on the quad you may need to remove it using betaflite/elsrconfigurator
