I have the same dump trailer and I’m having an issue with the gravity down when it gets to the second piston it seems like it’s getting stuck and almost doesn’t go down anymore.
If i wanted this exact trailer with the 18kgvwr package (208 package), could i have it de-rated from the factory to 16k gvwr? And if so, how could i go about making that happen during the ordering process? You guys make some great trailers.

I need to know how large of a riser board i can put on the front and still get the tarp arm up an over? For instance can i put 24" of pressure treated boards all around and still be able to put that tarp up?
Good question! We can't assure the long arm tarp system will cover load properly when adding 24" boards. We have designed the tarp system to properly cover loads with 2x6 board brackets.

Just got an MDT. The Pass. Side gate won't lock into place. It's like the gate needs to come up an 1/8th of an inch for the lock to engage. Is there anything I can do to fix it? I literally have used it one time!

@@447Film Yeah I called them and they basically told me to bend the tab down on one side to make it lock into place. That's a bit ghetto for me

I paid about 17k for a trailer and the back doors didn’t close properly. The tab in the back had a single tack weld holding the doors closed. And the passenger side door doesn’t latch properly the spring lock mechanism has 1/4” of material holding it to the side and any little shake makes them let go. Not to mention that the tarp system is lopsided one side sits flush when you ratchet it back and the other side is about 6” higher than the other side. I’ll gladly pay a premium over the other manufacturers but these are little details that shouldn’t have gotten past QC if y’all even have anybody checking the trailers before they go out.
