Great video! I really like parking the drone for a while and using it as a very tall tripod. Sad news, the last steel mill in the area will be closing in a couple months. Sad to think about what Youngstown used to be. Remnants everywhere.
Very good coverage and I think that's the first time I've seen a tape where the stone is unloaded usually it's at the Quarry. Interesting mix of equipment from conventional hoppers to older air dump coal cars. You're right about that cluster of lines in that area as it's one named after another and the number that has also been changed probably back to the 1980s. Within the last year CN retired their former ore jennies from sand and gravel service and it appears the three quarries now use leased short hoppers and apparently supplement them with B&LE cars. Oh yes it was fun watching the two guys on the ground zip around like little ants. Fully understandable to speed things up a bit as those conveyor belts don't exactly unload them at a super-fast rate.
I like to cover shipping or receiving customers operations when I can, I know the modelers like to see that. I showed part of a car being unloaded in real time but speeding it up cut a few minutes out of the video!
That is an awesome view! Sure would like to see that in person. Great video Scott!
I agree with u 😊
Yay. I finally got to see how they empty the loads. Thanks Scott. Your videos are awesome. Thanks for sharing with us.
Thanks for watching as always!

Very cool aerial and ground views of the action Scott! (Dave).
Yeah, that's just what I was thinking too.
Thank you Dave!
