To everyone that joined us on this journey we just want to say thank you❤️ Avatar was a story like nothing we’ve seen before and watching it with you guys made the experience even more perfect🙏🏼 We hope to see you guys when Korra starts on the channel, we’re currently on episode 6 and honestly...we’re loving it! www.patreon.com/TGLReacts
What a journey guys! love your reactions and of course I will be watching Korra with you :D the best thing about Korra is that you get to see what is airbending about
The wonderful thing is that Aang is the only one who could’ve taken Ozai’s bending away, if you remember the Lionturtle said that one unbending in spirit could bend someone’s spirit. All the previous avatars advices Aang to go against his beliefs, to bend his spirit for the world’s needs. By refusing and staying true to himself he could bend the fire lords spirit!
This is why I'm always annoyed that people complain about the ending because it "Comes out of nowhere". Which I guess is TECHNICALLY true, but I feel like that's the entire point. The Lionturtle chose to teach Aang something that literally no one else knows/thinks exists. Aang is the only person trying to think of a solution that doesn't involve killing. Aang truly believes all life is sacred and that he doesn't have the right to end someone's life, even someone as terrible as the Firelord. I feel like if the Energy Bending were ever even hinted at, people would basically be able to see the ending coming from a mile away. Keeping it a secret keeps us the audience on our toes. Ideally none of us should WANT Aang to have to go through with killing the Firelord. Even if (Like many other characters) we think it's necessary, Aang is a 12 year old kid and we know the kind of anguish this act would inflict upon him. It keeps us in suspense about whether or not he's going to go through with it.
Also, it's way more intimidating. As one of the reactors said, taking bending away from a bender is more devastating than killing them. It's like ripping a part of their soul from them. And, it sends a message to every other person on the planet. I will ffft you up and make you live with it. It's like cutting off a warrior's dominant hand.
in an interview the voice actress for Azula , the ever talented Grey De Lisle, said that for that breakdown scene she had to pull from some very traumatic memories and very deep pain and just allow her self to just let go and just fully feel it to get that take. To this day she has a hard time rewatching the scene because of it, That is a freaking artist right there lol She did not have to go that hard but she did, and I think thats what sets this show apart from others of its time, every single person who worked on this show gave 110% to it because they loved the story and knew how important it was to get it told and have its message resonate. Thank you for giving us this amazing show that continues to touch people even 18 years later ♥
@@Daesma999 it has been a long time since i saw that interview so it is entirely possible I just remembered it wrong and she has never gone back to watch it like you say. Honestly the more i think on that I think you might be right lol
In the acting world that's called method acting and if that's really the case, what she did was VERY dangerous to her mental health. It's one thing using emotional memory, but using actual traumatic memories to get to that point is a big no-no for any actor due to the safety concerns. That said, she was willing to sacrifice it all to give it the most true performance and to that end she is one of the very best.
The original plan of the Avatar creators was to make a movie, a tv special or something like that after season 3, about Zuko's search for his mother. But that got cancelled by Nickelodeon in favor of a live action movie trilogy. We all know how that worked out... 😭😭
Two things: the titles show Aang progression, Episode 1: the boy in the iceberg. Finale Ep: Avatar Aang Also, after Aang wins, he uses the first water bending move he learned from Katara, the pull and push of the water. I absolutely recommend y’all check out (even on your free time) overanalyzing avatar. It’s a fantastic YT series that covers all the great, little details most miss
@@THEAVATAR-g3o I'm not sure about this though i feel like they are going to mess with her character while i think she is perfect the way she is broken but perfect.
I really don't get the people who say this, she doesn't look 14 or talk like a 14 year old I always thought shes like 18 and zuko 17 or so. It doesn't make it sadder just because people say she's 14 when she hasnt show any signs of being 14.
@@THEAVATAR-g3oWe still don't know that, all we know is she's getting a solo graphic novel in November about visiting a Temple but not if she'll be redeemed, we all thought that would be the case in "The Search" and "Smoke and Shadow" but we were still left waiting.
A small detail here is that despite earth being the hardest for Aang to learn, he finally used earthbending the way Toph does to defeat Ozai once and for all... He truly mastered the four elements + energy bending.
I’ve always been impressed by the casting for this show, Dante Basco did an amazing job portraying Zuko. And I was surprised to find out that Mark Hamil played Ozai. Hamil himself almost turned down the offer after reading the script, saying that the show was too smart and ahead of its time.
The finale still gets me emotional every time 🥲 everyone’s story gets a resolution, the main characters all get a fit change, it’s great. I think the Zuko’s mom tease was supposed to set up a season 4 but we got Korra like 6 years later instead.
I like how Aang and Zuko are friends now. It was teased for a while like in the episode ‘The Blue Spirit’ but it’s also cool to see that the Avatar and the Firelord are friends again like they once were in Aang’s past life when he was Roku. It shows that this friendship was meant to be
I agree this was one of the saddest endings ever. And it's funny because it's actually one of the happiest but the sad part is to watch it end. Luckily it never gets old no matter how many rewatches.
Not counting the first intro the first word spoken in Avatar "It's" and the last word "perfect"...it's perfect. Also first episode "The Boy in the Iceberg" and the last episode "Avatar Aang". Both describe Aang but also shows his growth through the series from a goofy kid who never wanted to be the Avatar to rising to face his destiny and save the world.
Hello everyone, a comics has been released about how Zuko is looking for her mother after the last episode. The comic was released in 2013 under the title "The Search".😺
You know what's frustrating? when you constantly call out what's gonna happen and it ends up being correct 😅. I think we as viewers love it when get reactors get surprised about what happens, but you guys were just too good in knowing what's going to happen 😂. It's been a pleasure going on the Avatar journey with you fellas, hope to see you start your Legend of Korra journey as well.
The guy on the right for sure has watched it before. He's done a lot of this in other episodes. But it does feel like the dude on the left hasn't seen it
They absolutely have watched this show before this reaction. They called things several episodes before it even happened multiple times. Things which were not obvious and no other reactors have even come close guessing.
This show has the most amazing written characters out of most shows out there, zuko has one of the greatest charater developments ever, every single charter gets love throughout the story, uncle iroh in my opinion one of the wisest and best "senseis" ever written not only to zuko but everyone throughout the story, azula is such an amazing and tragic character. the show has so many layers its a masterpiece
I just love the mental thought of aang screaming in his head as he grabs Ozai with the water tentacle at the end as: “Why are you running? You wanted this fight!”
Even after all these years the ending still makes me tear up. It really one of the best endings to any show ever 🙏masterpiece! Nice to see new people reacting to it after all this time
So, that scene where Azula is tied up and crying has an interesting bit of trivia. The voice actress who did Azula, had to dig deep into some dark, personal trauma to be able to make those cries sound realistic. Apparently, the studio crew put her in the sound booth, turned on the recorders and everyone left, giving her privacy so she could do that scene. I have serious respect for anyone who is, not only, able but willing to do that to themselves for their art. Edit: Just realized someone else posted something similar. My apologies.
I posted it episode ago and now it's poping up here too.. I think it's worth mentioning because she deserves all the credits for the mad dedication. We better put some respect on that detail by taking about it.
"There's no way anyone could watch this ending and not be satisfied" Zukara-shippers, energy-bending haters, and mei-zuko doubters have entered the chat
none of that bothers me, I just wish they showed what happened to Azula at the end, did she end up in prison with ozai ? I know the comics have some info but I wanted the series to show azula's fate
@@delfinangel96 I kinda like that they leave a lot of details unanswered. Most of the show is built on the wonder of the unknown. They eventually explain most of it but the show would be far less interesting if they didn't let you at least think about it first. I think the problem with NATLA is that they explain everything all the time so that you know more than the characters do. The comics did try to keep the story alive to explain those details but I didn't enjoy much of the little I saw from them
During firebending training, Zuko told Aang to roar like a tigerdillo, which I believe was seen as a show of strength in the Fire Nation. In the first instance, Aang's was puny, and then it was fierce enough to intimidate Momo. Firelord Ozai did the same roar but to a much more threatening degree it got Aang shook, and finally Aang in full Avatar State was the highest level of strength a firebender could achieve, a long call back to the Winter Solstice where the Fire Sage stated only a fully realized Avatar can open the door needing five simultaneous fire blasts, showing Aang himself is now fully realized. And yall pointed out something I never realized; the parallel between the way Azula was defeated and the way Ozai was defeated. What a show man.
It's ironic that Ty Lee left home because she didn't want to be part of a 'matched set', and yet she joined a group that wears matching uniforms and makeup...
This is the only series that I will never get tired of watching forever. Both Avatar Aang and Avatar Korra really captivated my imagination to its exceeding limits. I agree with you both, watching it as an adult really makes it more meaningful, than just comprehending of how cool the benders, and the bendings itself, are, and stuff like that. That's why I still don't understand the stereotype that watching this is a complete childish act. No, the life lessons, the dialogues, the character developments and everything about THIS is just perfect. ❤️ Looking forward for your The Legend Of Korra reactions. ❤️
I'll never forget watching this for the first time as a kid- real happy you guys got to experience it! It seems that at some point, the plan was for the series to have a fourth book that would deal with the aftermath (Zuko looking for his mother, etc.) but it never came to fruition. Years later, they created official comics that covered some of those plots, but unsure how much they take from the original plans for the show. Sadly, comics prolly make for a less compelling youtube reaction, but perhaps you could check them out in your free time?
I still vividly remember when this episode aired on TV. We were at a family reunion, and my two older cousins (by like, two years) were allowed to stay up late and watch it, but I had to go to bed with the younger cousins. I remember the incandescent rage I felt at the unfairness of this, since streaming wasn't a thing and we didn't set it up to record. I watched this episode through a tiny crack in the door, crouched on the hardwood floors, barely able to hear since they had to keep the volume low. It is a core memory of my childhood.
This was a great journey. I really enjoyed re-watching my favorite show with you. It's such a shame that there wasn't a season 4, because there are Avatar comics who tell stories that happened to Gaang few years after the war. One of them was about Zuko's mom, other one was about Toph setting things right with her dad, then there was some water tribe drama, then there was one about fire nation colonies in earth kingdom... They would make a really amazing season. If you wanted to check them then they are on youtube with commentary.
You guys basically narrating a load of stuff that happens, right before it does 😂 Great reaction to this series. You'll have to find the comic "the search" for the tea on zuko's mother.
Azula is one of my 3 fav characters of this show and i really wanted a redemption for her ! Cause if u think about it she is the one who suffered the most, yeah there is zuko but zuko had iroh azula was alone she felt alone there r moment when she shows pain like in the beach or at the end when saw her mom she cared about their friends but she fed the friendship with fear instead of love because she believe is the only ways people wont betray you cause all she learned was from his father and when her friends betray her all she believe fall apart imagine if that happens to you in the most important day the day u have to be perfect the day u have to show u r strong, thats why she break at the end she is really strong but after defeat she just breaks plus u can see the demage her father did to her when said to zuko “the duel that was meant to be” like from kids that was they were taught to compete each other to fight each other to gain everything thru fight or kill each other and she has this idea of being strong so wrong even when she is fighting and she is losing against zuko we can finally se fear in her eyes in a battle thats why it hit me really hard when she breaks n im not talking this happens to her at 14 !!! We need a redemption for her maybe not becoming good but some kind of anti hero maybe like she wanting like “peace” but has another vision it would be cool
I'm glad to have caught this series/channel way back in Book 1. It's been so much fun watching you take this journey! Thank you so much for sharing your reactions to this amazing series that I love so much!
this was great, loved your reactions, the commentary was always down to earth and fun.. And of course, props to Avatar for being such an amazing show too!
It's my headcanon that energy bending is not a 5th type of bending, instead it's all the types of bending (and everything in nature) combined. When you think about it all 4 elements are nothing else but energy in different forms. That can also be seen from the very first episode when Iroh said "the breath becomes energy in the body, the energy extends past your limbs and becomes fire". Also the energy beam when aang takes the firelords bending away looks exactly the same as the beam in the first episode when aang comes out of the iceberg. That would mean Aang possessed this power from the beginning, explaining how he could use the roots of the tree in the swamp to find katara and sokka. The lionturtle just made him see how to use this power. Like Guru Pathik said that nothing is separate, it makes sense to say that energy is what connects everything (especially the 4 elements)
Idk if you guys noticed but the reason Aang was able to go into the avatar state is because when Ozai shot him to the rocks the rocks hit Aang in the same spot Azula shot him so it kinda realigned/reopen Aang's chakra points to go into the avatar state again
Avatar really makes you grow up with them. It starts childlike in their portrayal forcing you to kinda get on their level and at times it’s like WTF but as it gets more mature you kinda appreciate the way it/they developed
I’m so glad someone finally mentioned when Aang first went into the avatar state and used firebending out 5 different parts of his body cause he was showing ozai u think what you did was power lemme show you something! Y’all are the only reactors I’ve seen mention that scene 🎬
Azula crying is defiently not a "tantrum." She was brainwashed by her father, molded into a perfect solider at age 14. She started breaking after her friends left, it's obviously deeper than that lol
I remember catching The Last Airbender while surfing on cable and I was hooked. I kept recommending this to my friends that even though it was on Nickolodeon, it was no kids' animation. The story arcs, the depth of character development, the amazing voice acting, the fight scenes, the emotional roller coaster this animation puts you through...absolute perfection! Decades later, I still laugh, get teary eyed and chills watching this. Thank you to everyone who worked on this masterpiece!
I remember watching another reaction to this and someone in the comments said suki was his boomerang and I’m like that’s actually rlly cute and now I wonder if that’s what the scene meant since she always came back for sokka
I love the little detail, where when Aang's chakra opens again and it shows the line of Avatar's staring off into the distance, Roku is looking at Aang instead.
The problem with getting advice from the other Avatars, is that none of them had to face being the last of their people. Yangchen said that it was Aang's sole duty to protect the balance of the world. But Aang is the last of the Air Nomads. The world cannot fall back into balance without the Air Nomads, and if Aang doesn't carry on their teachings of peace, who will? Aang refusing to kill Ozai was his way of restoring balance.
Guys, I thoroughly enjoyed watching Avatar with you. 🤩Thank you so much! 🤗🤗You're the best ✨I hope you can see many other productions and share your reactions with us ❤
"like baby, like tantrum" .. bro,she was still a kid. A girl. that was the first time she was being her nature trait as a girl who wanted to be loved. No matter how strong she was,she was still a girl

Zuko nightmares, trying to deal with the Fire Nation colonies (and a mixed nation family of three) Some air acolyte hopefuls Katara and Aang being lovey dovey gives Sokka the oogies And I haven't read the Search, but I remember someone else getting to be involved, also curious 😊 oh and the gist of what happened to his mom And Azula...smth I can't remember if it's canon or smth I read in a fanfic 15:10 Irohhhh providing the OST again aa Ohh Fire Lord's serving tea I see you 15:27 _Essence_ 13:51 the 16:20 hehe I remember 16:33 THE LAST AVATAR TUUNE THATS WHAT THE TEARS DID 20:55 and _that's_ what did it like aaaa Maybe you can read the Promise and the Search at some point
If you want to know the story of Zuko's mother, you'll want to check out The Search comics. All of the comics they've done for Avatar are great of course, and they are making 3 movies right now, as well as a new sequel series that takes place after Korra.
You actually have 6 really amazing female characters. Azula, Mai, Tai Lee, Suki, Katara, and Toph. plus some more side characters like June (with her Shirshu)
4:24 When I first watched this, I was expecting Azula to follow that family physician line up with another one along the lines of, "Oh wait, I banished him! Oh well, sucks to be Zu Zu!" Missed opportunity for a psychotic, but also pretty funny joke.
i was just thinking this honestly a couple of their reactions through the episodes felt like they totally watched this before they say things as they happen. Even before the subtitles say so!
Man this show takes me all the way back. One of the best cartoons of my childhood. It really does feel like an anime even though it's not. I'll definitely need to rewatch soon!
Imagine being Toph while dangling, nothing holding you but just Sokka, the explosions of the air ships, the heat radiating from all that fire, now she's totally blind, with no reference of what's happening, just pure chaos.
The story of Zuko's mother appears in the comic "The Search". If you don't wish to read it and would rather "watch" it: here on UA-cam, the official Avatar channel has the three main comics (that one included) in a motion picture format. While they aren't read word for word, the narrator does a pretty good in summarizing each panel/page, and features dialogue and other sounds from the show. The comics take place not long after this finale.
I was a teenager when this show came out and it was one of the most influential shows of my entire life. To this day I rewatch it not only for nostalgia sake, but when I feel a bit lost and need Uncle Iroh's guidance. I remember being sad for like six months after the finale knowing I probably would never find a show like that again. It was awesome to watch you guys' reaction. So many people dismiss this show initially as a "kid's show" solely because it's animated, but it is one of the most mature coming of age stories I've ever seen. The show never talks down to or treats its viewers like children who can't handle learning tough lessons, which makes me respect the creators even more. The finale is absolute perfection to all the ATLA fans. The only thing that made the fandom mad was that they didn't give us the full resolution to Zuko's mom. The amount of anticipation and frustration that viewers felt in the span of a second when Zuko asks where his mother is and then cuts to the next scene was so palpable. On the one hand fans felt like they deserved that answer, but I also think they were just mad for Zuko in that moment. He had gone through so much trauma and put in so much work to get past it that he deserved to be able to find her. Fortunately, the creators had multiple graphic novels written on what the Gaang does after the show, and one of them titled "The Search" goes into that plot point and resolves it. I highly recommend all of them, not just to have more adventures with the characters, but also helps put a lot of things in context for what happened between the end of this show and the beginning of Legend of Korra.
Aang becoming the Avatar State was not a coincidence or lucky circumstances. It was a response by the universe to Aang's request and dedication to defeat Fire Lord Ozai while still upholding the Air Nomad culture of not taking the lives of living beings. The Lion Turtle and the rock were not coincidences either, but answers to the concerns of the last Airbender who happened to be the Avatar.
Kataran, Zuko, and Azula being the only ones in that fight… also, because all three of them share a similar wound with their relationships to the maternal figures in their lives- though Zuko shares a mother with Azula, his path to confronting those issues was so drastically different to his sister’s, and instead he sides with someone whose own mother was taken from her because of the agenda and conquest of his heritage 😭
Let's go I love how you guys understood how aang was able to take away bending. It took me 3 watches of the whole series to understand what was going on. Many reactors I've seen also didn't completely understand what happens. Also if aang would have redirect the lightning at the Firelord it would have broken his spirit so he wouldn't been able to remove bending. Zuko's mother story is found in the comics
Well aang did tell ozai, sooka, toph and suki that he took ozai's bending away so I dont think you could have missed it plus if aang redirected the lightning it would have killed ozai since he doesnt know how to redirect lightning
Wouldnt anng have killed him with that lightning strike tho? He wouldve won. He was killed by azula with lightning too. Suko only survived azulas lightning because he redirected even tho he didnt do it properly.
@@msm_14 I knew what he did I just didn't know how he did it. I didn't understand the turtle. Plus Zuko already redirect lightning at the Firelord and the firelord survive why couldn't he survive again? Plus i was a teenager watching this first time it came out. This show is best as a rewatch show where you find a lot of things you missed watching the first time.
I watched this show so many times and I still ugly sobbed while watching this reaction sksksks Thank you SO much for this beautiful journey! I enjoyed every single episode you guys uploaded and I honestly can't wait to continue this journey with Korra! 💙 Thank you so much. 💙
One really cool deep thing I forgot to point out when it happened is when aang and zuko learned true fire bending and the purest from of it being dancing which is true expression of oneself. However the fire benders don't even acknowledge dancing and look down upon it it's ironic and heartbreaking how culture can be corrupted all stemming from one man's ego (sozin) in order to fit his ideology only anger and no varried expression when fire bending this show is so great. It was a pleasure watching all your videos on avatar and the journey been here since the first episode great work guys hope you keep doing your thing.
I think it’s a neat little detail that Katara uses a variation of Zuko’s fire breathing technique to unfreeze herself from the ice she used to freeze Azula P.S. I just discovered you guys and kind of bummed that I missed out on watching yall’s avatar journey in real time but, I’m also psyched to watch you guys experience the Legend of Korra. You’ve earned yourself a subscriber
This show is a perfect example of a family show. This isn't a kids show it's a show that can be enjoyed by all ages. That's one thing I strongly believe a difference between us a kids show and a family show.
There are actually official comics which are a continuation of the series. I'm not sure exactly how many there are but they are definitely worth reading if you want to know what happens after The Last Airbender but before Korra. There are a few side stories that happen during the series as well. 'The Search' is the one that covers the story of Zuko's mother but the other comics are definitely worth checking out.
One of the things that made Avatar so great was that the writers were amazing, they helped immensely in shaping the vision of the creators into what we have. I've seen accounts say they would also need to reel the creators back at times, when they'd have ideas that are cool and interesting, but potentially over the top and would overall hurt the story more than help it. Those writers were not involved in LoK, and I personally feel it shows in the final result like white on rice.
To everyone that joined us on this journey we just want to say thank you❤️ Avatar was a story like nothing we’ve seen before and watching it with you guys made the experience even more perfect🙏🏼

Fully agree! Further, any ending with Aang killing Ozai would have been unsatisfactory.
I didn't realize that this whole time! Thank you! 😂

WHAT A JOURNEY!!! This show made me emotional like none other it’s an absolute masterpiece
Love how Aang looks older and taller in the avatar state, just like Yugi in Yu-Gi-Oh when he activates his puzzle.
I’ve watched this ending a million times and I cried in every one of them😅 so much childhood nostalgia
The nostalgia the masterpiece of a show coming to a conclusion is just amazing, I also cry every time I watch this ending 🤣
I’m fully convinced they’ve watched the show already , just for review’s honestly witch sucks
@@leongarcia1910I was thinking the same thing. They literally called out like 5+ things in a row.
The guy on the right for sure has watched it before. He's done a lot of this in other episodes. But it does feel like the dude on the left hasn't seen it
They totally watched it. First video I've watched by them, and perhaps I'm wrong but it doesn't feel all that genuine.
Thought I was gonna have to wait some more days for this but here it is. Now every flying chase scene in a show or movie will remind you of Ozai
"There's no way anyone could watch this ending and not be satisfied"
Zukara-shippers, energy-bending haters, and mei-zuko doubters have entered the chat
none of that bothers me, I just wish they showed what happened to Azula at the end, did she end up in prison with ozai ?
Nice
It's ironic that Ty Lee left home because she didn't want to be part of a 'matched set', and yet she joined a group that wears matching uniforms and makeup...
Yay I’m so glad you guys loved it!
Looking forward for your The Legend Of Korra reactions. ❤️
16:20 “Aang is always taller when they’re kissing” 😭😂
As tragic as Azula’s breakdown was…. It was pretty badass seeing her just spit fire all over the place when she got angry 😭🔥🔥🔥
Aang's an Airbender. He doesn't get taller when they kiss, our shortking's floating.
Back when this first aired, for a few moments, I legitimately thought Katara had sacrificed herself to stop Azula.
From "the boy in the iceberg", to the "avatar aang", the titles of the first and last episodes fits perfectly to the journey of Aang, love that detail
You guys basically narrating a load of stuff that happens, right before it does 😂
Great reaction to this series. You'll have to find the comic "the search" for the tea on zuko's mother.
What a show 😢 glad you guys liked it
Azula is one of my 3 fav characters of this show and i really wanted a redemption for her !
Thank you so much for sharing your reactions to this amazing series that I love so much!
imagine a earth guy going to the coronation and being like _"wait... that's Lee from the tea shop ?!"_
this was great, loved your reactions, the commentary was always down to earth and fun.. And of course, props to Avatar for being such an amazing show too!
Hands up. One of the most satisfying finales in all media.
My rate is 10/10 best show ever!!!!!
I AGREE
Pilot- THE BOY IN THE ICEBERG
Finale- AVATAR AANG
🔥💖⭐
It was amazing watching it again with you guys
Idk if you guys noticed but the reason Aang was able to go into the avatar state is because when Ozai shot him to the rocks the rocks hit Aang in the same spot Azula shot him so it kinda realigned/reopen Aang's chakra points to go into the avatar state again
From "The Boy in the Iceberg" to "Avatar Aang" 🥹
Loved your reactions! Glad you liked the show :) And happy you liked Azula so much. She and Katara are definitely my favorites :)
Nah
Man I may never grow up but this ending will never make me not cry
YAY! congrats on finishing the series my guys!! i absolutely love this show! i've re-watched it countless times and still love it!!
"The Boy in the Iceberg" becomes "Avatar Aang".
Also when you combine very first and very last word said in this show you get "it's perfect"
I love the little detail, where when Aang's chakra opens again and it shows the line of Avatar's staring off into the distance, Roku is looking at Aang instead.
If you go back and watch the show again, you can see that lion turtles are teased many times.
🤗🤗You're the best ✨I hope you can see many other productions and share your reactions with us ❤
"like baby,like tantrum" ..

If you want to know the story of Zuko's mother, you'll want to check out The Search comics. All of the comics they've done for Avatar are great of course, and they are making 3 movies right now, as well as a new sequel series that takes place after Korra.
This episode always gets me emotional.
What a journey
Always a bittersweet ending and every time I’m ready to rewatch it
Awesome reaction boys! This is my favorite show, I’m always impressed by how well it’s aged
22:27 Haha that's true. Yeah it's like "oh, you know what? I think I'll watch it and try to find out why it is my favorite show ever" 🤣
I’ve loved this show since forever, ans seeing y’all fall in love with it makes me smile from my heart. Thank you for sharing this journey with us 🤎
Enjoyed all your reactions guys.
Guy on the left watched this before because he sounded a lil to confident on the “he’s taking away his bending”
Fr
i was just thinking this honestly a couple of their reactions through the episodes felt like they totally watched this before they say things as they happen. Even before the subtitles say so!
Azula needs a hug.🥺❤
First word of the series: It's
Last word of the series: Perfect
Aang becoming the Avatar State was not a coincidence or lucky circumstances. It was a response by the universe to Aang's request and dedication to defeat Fire Lord Ozai while still upholding the Air Nomad culture of not taking the lives of living beings. The Lion Turtle and the rock were not coincidences either, but answers to the concerns of the last Airbender who happened to be the Avatar.
Zuko’s mom actually gets explained in the comics for anyone wondering
These guesses to accurate 😭😭
they’ve definitely seen ts before😂
Every time I see this ending, I cry a little; It makes me so melancholy... I wish it would last longer.
Love how before aang shoots 5 fire blast like ozai the look he gave “ I’ll show you what real power is”
Kataran, Zuko, and Azula being the only ones in that fight… also, because all three of them share a similar wound with their relationships to the maternal figures in their lives- though Zuko shares a mother with Azula, his path to confronting those issues was so drastically different to his sister’s, and instead he sides with someone whose own mother was taken from her because of the agenda and conquest of his heritage 😭
@@davidhansen9792 ohh, sorry then bro.if that is the case. I didnt get it too but I understood once I watched korra

Thank you SO much for this beautiful journey! I enjoyed every single episode you guys uploaded and I honestly can't wait to continue this journey with Korra! 💙
Thank you so much. 💙
I'm glad you guys reacted to this show cause it's how I found you guys ❤️🔥💪🏾 onto the next one
It has been fun reliving this series watching you guys! Great reactions to a great show.
It was a pleasure watching all your videos on avatar and the journey been here since the first episode great work guys hope you keep doing your thing.
the great thing about this show is that it grew up with its audience
I think it’s a neat little detail that Katara uses a variation of Zuko’s fire breathing technique to unfreeze herself from the ice she used to freeze Azula
The scene where Zuko asks about his mother is a teaser for the comics. In one of them the entire story of Zuko's mom is explained
2:50 Reminds me of the original fire blast from pokemon, which is based on a certain significant kanji.
YAAA!!!! It was so nice watching this show with you😁😁
Love my man recommending to watch Avatar at the end of a react series, and you know what, i think i will! 😂❤
Followed you guys through this whole journey. It’s been a ride! Thanks y’all and I wish you the best ❤
Brava to national treasure Grey DeLisle for channeling her trauma into top tier voice acting for Azula.
I miss this show! I was a teen the first time I watch this amazing show... Need to watch it again! ❤
