Thank you for all your videos. I work for a French company and I am determined to learn French enough to have a lunch conversation. Your videos help me a lot.
Many thanks to Alexa for creating this video. I have found it really useful as just having words to recite is something I can easily do while taking care of something else, (such as cooking or shopping). I have listened to the video in full probably about 30/40 times and I think I know all of the words now. Therefore I am hoping to take on a new list of words. Is there another video with a list of 100 adjectives? A hundred nouns would do just as well. Or preferably both. If yes, please add a link in the reply. I would really appreciate this. Philip.
Great French teaching videos! So easy to follow and understand, very clear, very explanatory, makes difficult aspects of French much easier to understand, a joy to watch, Alexa is cheerful and uses humour making the videos fun to watch. The best language videos i can remember.
Same here. 3 weeks in learning French so I assume it will be easier in time. In German, it isn't a problem. For most nouns, you just add "in" at the end of a masc. word to get the fem. equivalent. (Der Lehrer, die Lehrerin, etc. 'teacher') Adjectives stay the same masc. or fem., although German adjectives are NOT so easy. The change form quite a bit (before the or a/an, and in the 4 cases) (Love watching Alexa. She's a great teacher!)
Great teacher Alexa! I love how you teach so much within 10 minutes. I learn and recapitulate from your videos for my exams. I love your teaching, this has helped me a lot. I feel interested while you teach and can watch this all day. I really want to appreciate you for your hard work. You have taught me a lot and enhanced my vocabulary. Thanks for teaching us.
Thanks Alexa for all your videos.. It has helped me a lot to improve my French.. Your teaching approach is perfect.. The fact that you are super fluent in French and English is a big advantage for the French learners with English mother tongue..
thanks for your long lesson, it is quite nice, but it is a lot to learn in one lesson, it took me 1 hour to complete this lesson. May I recommend if you have a lesson as difficult as this, chop it into smaller parts with SOME but not 100 word so beginners can easily understand without stress? THANKS A LOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hi . I was looking for for adjectives of both genders . You just make it soo easy . I really appreciate for what you have been doing . I am proud to have such a teacher like you . Thank you very much . 😊🥰
really nice teaching techniques you have, alexa ......well done...btw can u plz make a video with all the useful verbs and their conjugation? as i am really facing a problem in conjugating the verbs in the THIRD group......merci beacoup!!
Iv'e been taught this in my French class as 'BANGS' rather than 'BAGS" with the 'N" standing for numbers? Is this correct or is there occasions where numbers done always go before the noun?
First of all thanks. 🤩 I know that I might not get an answer to this question, but je vais essayer de faire de mon mieux. Do feminine and masculine adjectives for the ones that are written the same, have different pronunciations like word accents? Bcz I noticed for instance 02:31 'difficile and diffi'cile. This is how I gotta read them? Another: 01:59. Many of them are like that.
Ściana Yes it's the same but «lorsque» is less used and for some cases you can't use it as «quand». For example «When will you have your 18 years old ? », here you'll be obligated to use quand : « Quand vas-tu avoir tes 18 ans ?». It's hard to explain it but i'm gonna try. You can't use it as an interrogative word but you can use it in a question.«Qui était la fille à qui tu parlais lorsque nous étions en vacances à Paris ?» in english « Who was the girl you were speaking with when you were in holidays at Paris ?» so here you use lorsque in a question but not as an interrogative word beacause the interrogative word is qui (who). Hope you get it :/
To my experience of started learning French, I've reached to this point that teaching language would be much more effective if it presents in French language. These amazing numerous works and put so much time and effort would attract more viewers by simply using the original language. You sense of humour during the teaching as well as your thorough understanding of students needs are amazing and works very well. Good luck !

You're the best french teacher ever!!
Yes ik magi
worst*
Feminine/masculine words are the main reason why learning another language is so hard for me. My memory can't hold all these ending changes lol
So truee, but there is a pattern if you take a closer look, for example -eux in masculine will change into -euse in feminine.
Yes very tough….. its the hardest part

I love your work! Can we have a list of words like afin, lorsque, parfois, pourtant.... I don't know even what that would be called :) 'Handy words'??
Well «lorsque» is a «conjonction» and «pourtant» and also «parfois»are what we call « adverbe »
Does "lorsque" mean the same as "quand"?
Ściana Yes it's the same but «lorsque» is less used and for some cases you can't use it as «quand». For example «When will you have your 18 years old ? », here you'll be obligated to use quand : « Quand vas-tu avoir tes 18 ans ?». It's hard to explain it but i'm gonna try.
