      French is a very curious language that sits in the fence of anglo and romance.
      I speak both english and spanish and french words sound either very similar to english or very similar to spanish.

    A lot of these aren't too bad. I think some of them are easier than others as they are fairly similar to English and Spanish. But yes, like someone said, conjugating them is a whole, different story...

    I like to use mnemonics and word association tricks to memorise words. E.g. 'donner' souns like 'donner kebab' - so think 'GIVE me a donner kebab'. And there you have it, an easily-memorised verb that you'll be able to actively recall. A couple more examples: ficher (to file) - think of a file being placed in a fish tank; Pedre (to lose/waste) - think of a pardre losing his wallet.

    A Really useful way to learn the beautiful language of France. I think like most people i know a good few of them, but it's a really good/nice way to get to know the rest. I leave you on in the background and go about my day, i'm a very slow learner so repetition is the key.
    Like most most people here, i am eternally grateful for the effort thought you put into your lessons. So a very big THANK YOU from an Englishman living in France.

    An year ago, i knew only four or five and i stopped watching video in between and i said i can't impossible for me.. but after a month i started taking classes two days a week. today i was searching where to use "c'est et il est" and ended up at this video.. when i started this video my heart started racing fast because i was worried. i am happy with my progress because the guy who stopped video in-between, today he know 80/100.

    Hi there, ma'am! Since my very first french classes i always realised that the teachers don't usually pronounce the final -r of a verb in its base form. For example, the verb Aller, should i strong my -r spelling at the end or not?
    (And by the way, thanks for always upload the amazing content that you bring to us)
