Beaducation has had these for many years and a video. They actually used to punch the holes around a washer but then had special gears made. Obviously many people have not seen them so good job at teaching them.

Maryanne Cross it is a Spirograph. A stenograph would be a machine that a stenographer would record information on in a legal court

I like the technique. I haven't seen this yet here in The Netherlands. But it seems a lot easier to learn, than 3D peyote stitching.

We called those things Spiro graphs when my children had them. they were really fun to use.
