Guys, don't obsess over the bottleneck, if you want a 4070 super and you have an i5 12400f or your budget only allows for that processor, it will be fine for playing at 1440p. At 1080p, too, with a loss of fps, but nothing serious. Remember that Nvidia has its technologies that help performance. If you don't like using that help, it's better to buy a 7800 16gb VRAM from AMD.

In 1080p some games bottleneck doesn't mean shit. For example in cs2 If your cpu can't go above 400fps while lows are above 240 on your refresh rate 240hz u don't give a damn about bottleneck. On 1440p thing change and u can go above 1-2 price points and u won't feel much bottleneck.
You can run a 4090 if you want. You just won't max out the gpu usage at 1080p. You can run any resolution with this chip cause the higher the resolution, the more gpu dependent it becomes.

if you're really going to do this, i'd strongly advise you to lock the fps on the games you're playing till you upgrade your monitor so you don't have your cpu running at 100% all the time.
