There are so many options you can take with this kit. It is going to be interesting to see which road you go down with this one. It is going to be see where you take this one. Very nice choice. Thanks for sharing.
I had no idea there were that many model channels. I've only lately discovered a few, maybe six I watch on YT. I studiously avoid all "social " websites other than YT.
Nice pick Matthew. The panel truck is SOOO cool.... And cool with the QR codes, I havent seen the magazine, so I did`nt notice that they included that. How cool is that. The tires you got in the parts kit you bought, are Monograms 4X4 tires. You`ll find them in quite a lot of Monogram kits, one of them beeing the red Desert Rat off road Chevy van 😀 I cant wait to see what you do to the panel truck. Build on brother 🙂
I thought it was just including the pickup. Glad I caught this video, so I'm not confused when group build updates get posted on channels that veer away from the pickup. The Panel truck I've not seen for sale in any of my hobby shops, but I'm liking that molded in black one.
He picks the kit and then doesn't use any of it!😂 The original Grave Digger was certainly an idea but I ended up with the PU version. Maybe I can chop, channel and section it into a 1/25 Foose truck😃 Look forward to yours, whatever it will be
@@modelcarvideos5829Yeah that could be, the older Revell was a '56 I'm not familiar enough to know the difference, other than grilles being different, and windshield? IDK. But then a chop and tube grille would make it unidentifiable to me other than 53-56
Cool!! The Bootlegger is my base kit too! I’m thinking a pro street chassis….??? Right now I’m more excited about the Lincoln V12 than the truck. LOL. Great pick dude!
Very cool Matthew. Nice kit and I was wondering if the Foose truck would be used. I do like this panel truck idea. Can't wait to see the direction you take it.
That will be interesting to see what you do with your build. What comes out of the parts box, and what you fabricate. And see my comment on Mark's kit, about using Brasso, as a chrome stripper. That was a chance discovery on my part. A bit of a surprise, yes. But a pleasant one. The original intent was to see if Brasso might work to polish the chrome. It stripped it pretty much immediately. This is an alternative to the purple dip. Just dab it on, and wipe it off with a soft cloth. Might require a Q tip in the recesses.
Trip down memory lane. Think you mentioned the Kat from AMT on a video. Could not find the right one to respond to, so commenting here. In the early 60's he represented the brand. His name was Budd Anderson. He even had a column in Hot Rod Magazine about model cars. Google his name for a rich history. Thank you for reading an entirely long post. James
Really cool, good luck with the build. After this build is over I might get with ya for those extra parts lol I have a body truck that needs a frame and suspension lol.
Hi Matt. Is a rebuilder OK? It's pretty substantial. Missing a lot of parts. (I did not build it) Also thanks for showing the mag! Super cool to see our builds in a magazine. Thanks!
Good morning Matthew. Quick question. I don’t have a UA-cam channel but I have a instagram channel , can I still enter.? I watched your entry video and for some reason I have a overwhelming idea for the 55. Please and thank you to send any info in a reply.
Good luck with your build. You are one of the best builders that I watch on UA-cam.
Thanks Craig!
"Much more funner." It sure is!!
Can't wait to see your updates!

Nice pick. Sounds like a nice plan. Have fun.
I think the Gravedigger was. 1950 Chevy panel
The original grave digger was a 51 ford panel and the 2nd was the chevy body.
Nice 😅
👍
Nice pick Matthew! I knew it would be a Ford, lol
😁

The Foose isn't a 55. I think it's a 56

Those tires look like the ones that came in the Chevy Blazer kit from the 80’s. I’m sure they used them in other kits too.
nice pic Matt i might join to and do my own kit
I built that kit in 1988
The tires could be from one of the jeep kits

Just the monogram 55
I love that you picked a kit that I have never built and I bought because Ms. Heather has built it only a few weeks ago. This is going to be FUN!

Great choice for the build Matthew! Glad I can be a part of it this year. Have a great weekend!
Hey Mathew what is the rules for the build dose it have to be a 55 ford monogram kit
Yes it can be the monogram 55 pickup or panel.
