just upgrated today from this exact 12 pro max went with a blue 15 pro max was waiting for the 16 pro max but the 12 pro max speaker and batteries are weak with years of use cant wait to test out the 120hz display this week ( used to a 300hz display )

i just switched from 12 pro max to 15 pro max, and im in Europe, so far my phone is flawless had no heating, or any other issues previously marked by media. If you can go for it, and refund it if any issues, but i had none. Cheers!
That comment of not rich enough is total bull, I can buy a new iPhone every year if I want but I don’t. I currently have the 12 pro max and it still runs just as good as the day I turned it on.
My 15 Pro Max is supposed to arrive tomorrow and I’m pretty excited. On top of the issues I’ve caused to it such as cracks and black areas on the screen and glass chunks missing on the rear and then the home button being faulty, it’ll be really nice to have the 120 hertz display, on top of many other things. My 2021 iPad Pro has the 120 hertz display and you can feel the difference. iPhones are way behind in many ways but I still choose to stay in the Apple environment as my second iPhone.
The only reason I upgraded from my 12 pro max yesterday is because the antenna was “old” the representative said and my phone kept not receiving calls and dropping them
I think it’s a clear line at 12/13. 12 felt like the 10 but fleshed out. The 8,7,6s,6’s ushered in easy free smartphones for older family members. Now that everyone has upgraded to $1100 phones it’s not necessary to jump every year or even 2 or 3. Good job 👍
went to Apple store just to try to hold how light it is and the titanium is soooo nice to touch. my heart says “buy it” but the pocket says “sorry you can’t, try next year agian” 😂😂😂. nice review Matt!
Just upgraded to the 15 Pro Max from the 12 Pro Max! I found it a decent upgrade, I probably would’ve rocked my 12PM another year if my new one wasn’t a gift for Xmas.
still using 12 pro max, and thinking about upgrading, but in reality for now there is 0 reasons to upgrade for some minor updates, and cameras ( if you dont shoot in sun) are the same, even detail is the same if you crop, only contrast higher.
I’ve got the 12 pro max and love it only reason I’m looking at upgrading is for one Verizon is having a deal if I trade mine in it’s only 10 a month and 2 my battery is not lasting no where like it use to. last 6 months it’s been noticeable not making through a full work day for me and it’s not even really a lot of use. My battery health is currently showing 81 percent
My parents are both doing fine with their iPhone 12 Minis (they aren’t as tech savvy as me) so they probably won’t need to upgrade until the iPhone 17 at the earliest. I’m hoping the vanilla iPhone 19 will be available with 2TB!

If I had a choice, I'd love to get a 13inch MBA M2 in silver. My old laptop was a 2013 15inch Macbook Pro and it recently got broken. Two weeks ago, I had to replace my iPhone 12 Pro Max with the iPhone 15 Pro. Despite having large hands, the Max felt a bit too bulky, and I’m really enjoying the more compact size of the Pro. There are a few distinctions between them, but they wouldn’t make a significant difference for the typical user. I’m particularly fond of the Dynamic Island, the new side button referred to as the Action button, and the inclusion of a new USB-C charger.
Definitely yes, even the USB-C charging cord is a big change for me , plus it screen wide, so I definitely will go for the 15 pro ..thanks for this video Mr Matt . And am planning on getting an iPhone 13 mini or pro this year
I finally wanted to retire my XS Max with the 15pm, but since my Apple Watch 6 decided to die on me I ended up getting the 14pm which saved me 750€. In the end still a big bump for me
I just upgraded from the 12 Pro Max to the 15 Pro Max too! I did it after seeing all of the offers...might as well get the most bang for your buck, it's a no brainer honestly.
Another thing to point out about upgrading every year, is that each year that Apple releases a new model of iPhones (or any product if there’s any), are the problems occurring are getting harder to fix and more expensive to get repaired or the parts replaced. I upgraded and bought almost every Apple products (including Macbook Pros, AirPods, iPod Touch, iPod Classics) since the release of iPhone 4, and stopped upgrading each year with iPhone 12 Pro Max. Let’s admit it, the Apple today are not the same of Steve Jobs era Apple, it seems like they’re intentionally making their products less quality, would you imagine using your iPhone 13 Pro Max or 14 Pro Max for a year or 2, and then suddenly when you update with the latest iOS, you’re stuck with white screen? Which is very expensive to have it repaired or replaced. My 1st Generation iPod Touch from 2007, iPhone 4S’s screens are still working fine, while the 2 year old expensive iPhone with latest software are dead. And about the zooming of video, you don’t have to stop every capture to have an optical zoom on iPhone 12 Pro Max. Just tried.

@@b_catholic For me, give it another year to upgrade. The camera of iPhone 12 Pro Max are really great, and the improvements (or not an improvement, just a tweak on the processing with new hardware) with new iPhone’s are not that big of a difference.
Anyone could settle with iPhone 12 pro max. But my perspective as non-ios user(no phone atm), I still think the updates on features are better. Although there are hardware issues with the new series, I think it depends on the usage. But anyway, they should still upgrade it not because it's bandwagon, but there are new features they should still try, right?

I still use the 12 pro max, I've gotten used to the size and weight of the device, I won't change it yet, at least as long as there are updates for it until 2026. It would cost me 15 to buy a new iPhone

Here’s a novel idea when when you try to see which one opens apps faster, open them at the same time as opposed to hitting one and then trying to find the other one on the other phone and then hitting that that doesn’t show anything

I’ve used eSIM for years and have had no hiccups that I wouldn’t have with physical. Although, I will still say having a physical sim tray is better, and it’s not like they really added anything to remove it. When I get older I’m going to start to travel more and I’m going to miss not having a SIM card tray then. Maybe I’ll stop in Europe and pick up an iPhone there just to have one 😅
I went from the 12 pm to the 13 pro max and it was a very noticeable difference in the night mode camera and in the zoom and the screen refresh rate. Even that upgrade was worth it!
Seems to me like Apple is at the end their ideas. Only changes are colour. I currently am using the 7 plus. I don’t know if I will be upgrading. Anyway, the other issue is price. At least double the price of what they should be. 11 with 128gb is $750 or so in Australia. Minimal speed improvement up to 14. Price of 14 is $1300. About $550 aud and no practical difference.

I would still have my iPhone 11 Pro Max , if I wasn't swindled into a 5G plan. When I started using the 5G sim, I noticed a pronouced different in the performance I had previously enjoyed with my 11 Pro Max (Shades of iPhone 6s Plus) Ah, but we know Apple or the Carriers wouldn't be so underhanded, right? I seriously hope the EU keep suing Apple for anti-competivie practices. Hmm, move on to 16, it's a bit of money and I would lose my SIM card.
IMO for the camera the 15 Pro is better than the Max because of the 3x zoom function. 5x may seem better than 3x but unless you are always zooming in to the 5x max (optical) on the Pro Max you will be using digital zoom which means that from from 2x to 3x they will be the same and from 3x-5x zoom the 15 Pro will be better than the max as theres less digital zoom.

Looking at the cameras in the back the 15 makes the 12 look like a pro or a baby phone
