    This made me tear up in some places. That feeling Elvis had of wanting to know everything. That feeling of something missing. I’m on this path too so I can relate so much. And to think someone like Elvis felt the same makes me live him all the more!!

    I've heard Larry tell this story on so many different occasions by now and it's as if you listen to a recording over and over, he has the stories in his head like reading a book, and still every time you hear him speak it is with the same enthusiasm and love! Larry is so happy with his life and his times with Elvis, it's really touching and Larry is a wonderful guy and one out of only a handful of Elvis his true real friends!!

      +Scent “Chris Georg” Land ---- " a true original" using elvis name, fame and fans to make easy $$$. SURE you can hear GODLINESS in his voice that is what Larry wants you to hear. Larry (hairdresser) to Elvis "a true original " you say ~ telling stories of his friendship with Elvis for $$$$$! SAD!!
      Elvis would be outraged! The so called friends who surrounded Elvis including Larry are using Elvis fans for their own gain! They are nothing without their stories about Elvis - their ONLY CLAIM TO FAME is ELVIS for $$$$!
      Elvis a private person would be outraged by all this!!!. ELVIS didn't need LARRY to tell the public how kind and loving he was - THE PUBLIC KNOWS - ALL "fans" COULD SEE ELVIS WAS TRUE - NOT A PHONEY ACT!!!!! LIKE THIS DEMONSTRATION BY LARRY. SHAMEFUL!! ~~~give the dollars earned to a charity in Elvis's name~ that would be honouring Elvis and original.

    This is nice. The more you learn about Elvis, it seems, the more you realize why he was as popular as he was. I know he had a temper, etc., but that largely came from his being so extremely sensitive. While of course, he was actually quite intelligent and sharp as a tack and as generous as could be. Not to mention, probably the best looking guy ever, with a hell of a sense of humor and - for my money - the most gifted vocalist, ever. You talk about God breaking the mold, after creating him, especially given that Elvis also taught himself to play the piano by ear; and could play the drums, guitar and the harmonica, proficiently, as well. He really was a prodigy, in that sense, let alone a beautiful and deep human being. Someone both men and women could love equally as much.

      IT IS! An easy way to make money with ELVIS FANS who are hungry to hear stories~ and the stories keep coming ~ tailored more and more each year. Jimmy baker according to Jessica ~ told ~ the end of each month was best to collect $$ because seniors would receive pension cheques etc. SHAMEFUL! If this JOURNEY is about spiritually and wanting fans to know about Elvis ~GIVE the money earned to a charity it's Elvis's name and fans after all. ELVIS is the STAR here. Larry believes all the same way Jimmy Baker believed. Shameful! Elvis would be outraged! Give the money to charity in Elvis's name. That would be a spiritual and ELVIS thing to do ~ you've been on this journey for 40 years ~ the $$ train has kept you busy on your journey. I know it was all God's plan ~ Jimmy said the same when speaking to pensioners to get the $$$ to roll in. Always with tone of sincerity! Shameful!

    Larry I am a professional singer/musician since the womb and was on the road the same time that Elvis was, so I had no time to know of him. I had to support my family & made very little $ because I couldn't carry the heritage of my parents or the Grand Ole Opry. My generations were all musicians; I worked other jobs so that my children could be in a normal school & made the biggest mistake of my life. I had homeschooled my daughter while on the road & public school introduced her to a new world of drugs. My husband, (guitar player) didn't know how to exist & died in a car accident after leaving a fun stage. My children are estranged because they wanted a normal life , but to tell you that I totally understand Elvis is an understatement. I had one new dress during all of my childhood & recvd one nurses outfit on one Christmas to help people. I started on radio @7 yrs old, little sis stood on a box (mic), I quit to sing in church & upset preachers, Now, a lonely hairdresser. Thank U💋

    Hi, I'm Norman, I grew up enjoying Elvis's music /songs. I was 7 years old in 1957, when my dad used to ask me to sing, Your Teddy Bear. I loved Elvis ever since then. I'm 62 now. The media has become visual, so now I can watch him preform all of his best. He has gone from this Earth just as Jesus went away but they will always be alive for me/us.

    I read Larry Geller`s book, "If I Can Dream," I don't remember much of the detail because I read it many years ago. Although, I do remember that Larry cared for Elvis that stood out from the book. Now, if someone has an addiction and doesn't deal with it than chances it will defeat you. An addiction doesn't care if you`re a celebrity, rich or poor. The more I watch information on Elvis, it all leads up to his death. Near the end of his life, one can see how his body was deteriorating, he was over-weight, his un-healthy eating from over the years was now taking effect and of course the drugs. He could`ve died a few times but Linda Thompson saved him. It was his time. I think he knew it. He explains in the "letter." RIP King. You earned it.

    The Memphis Mafia didn't like Larry, they felt all of the fun ended when Larry came along. The Colonel ended up burning books Larry gave to Elvis.

      Priscilla, with the consent of Elvis burned a lot of those crazy metaphysical books. Larry, the Swami, was a bad influence on Elvis.

      free tob thank God I wasn’t the only one to think the same thing.
      It’s always irritating listening to his gums smacking and that breathing.
      I am a big Elvis fan. I read all the books. Know all the stories. I know all about Geller. I researched Elvis for the last 25 years.
      I wasn’t a fan as a kid. I considered it as my parents music. I could’ve went to the MSG show and didn’t. ( big regret). It wasn’t until my late 20s early 30s that I caught the E Fever. I remember seeing This Is Elvis or one of those documentaries that I was hooked and didn’t look back.

    • @muteswantruth2703
      @muteswantruth2703 8 років тому +2

      This "recall" from 40 years ago and innocence you mentioned comes across phoney ~ or ~ like some one on a calming drug or medication for tone affect. It is all for the $$$ ~ Elvis would be outraged ~ 40years later and he's still talking about the first meeting ~ outrages!

    • @muteswantruth2703
      @muteswantruth2703 8 років тому +2

      Lee ~ It was because you married him you can now remember. I am sure Pricilla also recalls in detail the day she met Elvis. Larry was an employee of Elvis ~ like many others in his employ and later claimed (after Elvis death) they were his BEST his ONLY friend~ telling stories about Elvis for $$$ in the last 40 years is my point. This was an easy career for LARRY to make $$$ and keep the $$$ train running for 40 years. FURTHER nobody knows what was said by Elvis only what LARRY is telling people in his medicated tone (for the spiritual effect) which comes across phoney.Elvis fans have made LARRY the STAR with ELVIS in the back ground. Elvis would be outraged!

    • @Dreamweaver777
      @Dreamweaver777 8 років тому +7

      I believe he was his spiritual friend. I have read the books he gave Elvis and I understand his spiritual vernacular. I for one want to hear these dear and sweet stories about Elvis and I am glad he is telling them. I also remember in great detail seeing Tom Jones in concert with my Aunt when I was 11. I mean it was freakin ELVIS...of course he remembers every detail. I believe some of these men who were in close proximity loved him very much. How could they not?

Wish i could,ve just sat 5-10 mins with him & chatt. 💕 Just a sec, why did Elvis mention in Sept he would make the big change! Why would he have waited till the month of SEPT?? ... Thanks for your stories, efforts, time & for sharing. 🌺🌿🌺

    A wonderful interview with Larry Geller and Lilou Mace.. The young fans and the curious need to know about this side of Elvis, and nobody explains and describes it better that Larry Geller. One of Elvis's best friends, Larry sits down with Lilou Mace, a modern spiritual thinker who has interviewed Wayne Dyer, Deepak Chopra and many others on their spiritual journey. If you enjoy this, and believe it to be an important reason why Elvis is so beloved by millions 40 years after he left us, please share this interview.. Thank you, Craig Grandville..

      Henning Evensen Well, so says Larry Geller 40 some years later. In the summer of 1976, his backup singer Donnie Sumner told Elvis he was leaving. Elvis wished him well, said he, ‘would like to’, but that he will go on being Elvis... Elvis was too far gone to change. The only thing he could do was stay on the tread mill as long as he could. Drs. , family, tried to get him off drugs with many hospital stays.. weeks and weeks under the guise of exhaustion or whatnot... when it was a methadone program etc... Elvis like getting high. His best friends said so. And he didn’t let anybody interfere with that, if they did they would be let go.
