At least a dozen “Golf Cart Hot Rod Shops” in The Villages. You’ve never seen anything like it. $50,000 golf carts by the hundreds, $30,000 golf carts by the thousands.
I had the exact same car except mine was white with red interior. Beautiful, fun car to drive and always did very well on the mountain roads of Colorado. I had to have a couple major surgeries and needed the money and regretfully had to send it to auction to pay off a couple debts and it has left the biggest hole in my heart of any of the cars I’ve ever had and I’ve had some nice ones over the years and would do about anything to find another 63 convertible again. I’m a disabled Desert Storm Vet and my wife and I loved cruising in that car
@@frankodwyer9532 these uploads are scheduled quite far in advance, can't see this being intentional. Not like they posted any #kobe tags or anything. It is weird though.
I have a fleet of Corvairs from a '61 Monza sedan to a '66 Monza convertible 140HP (not a slug at all) to Corvair 95 Rampsides, and they all bring smiles to my face and others. It's cool when you hear a big block Chevelle yell "sweet Corvair!" giving thumbs up! I absolutely love all Corvairs and plan on adding more to my fleet!
I swear the best part of flipping cars is the drive while they sell. I’ve had them all. Corvettes, Porsches, Mercedes, 600whp civics, Basic Subarus taking them off curbs. I just loved it
I am a life-long Corvair fan-boy, because my Mother owned a turbocharged '64 that she absolutely loved and would tout that she could "dust off any Vette that tried her." She also liked to drive/race that little car, so she got into Rallye racing and I got to be her map reader/navigator. She and that Corvair always placed or won those races and I got basque in all the attention my Mother and her little turbo car got. I now own a '65 Corvair Monza convertible myself, cause they're just so much fun and get tons of attention, no matter where I go. And they handle the twisties like nothing else, so I can still have fun in my "grocery getter," doing autocross - everybody is always so surprised when I flog my Vair around the course and come up in the top finishers and the occasional win.
Rabbit, Corvairs are cute little things... and fast, too. What you WANT to be on the lookout for are the Stinger Corvairs. My dad has two lat models rusting on his property I wish I had the time and money to fix up. One's a 66 Monza with a 110 engine and the 4 speed manual. The other is a 65 Corsa with the 140 quad carb engine and a bunch of the Spyder accessories (Wheels, dash cluster, trim, etc.)
This is what I don't understand about the super car people. You can have a lot of fun with a car like this for a lot less money. Why is everyone always crowing about going fast when that is rarely done? That is one beautiful Corvair, by the way. The only thing people remember about the Corvair is Nader.
Those little cars can get damn fast. Seen once one with a with a 3.2l six cylinder boxer from an older 911. The original motor went belly up and the older porsche boxer was cheap (in germany).
I bought a project Corvair from 64 a lot like this, "0-60 In a damn weekend" suits it best lol. I use it as a daily driver since it's not a far drive from my house to school and work. I've almost had it a year now, and I love it, so does everyone else I meet! Its a cheap, cute little classic car that is relatively easy to work on and incredibly fun.
I honestly would love to see someone hot rod a Corvair with a modern turbo 4cyl just to see what it would be like. One of those cars with a 300+hp turbo 4 would be pretty fun I bet.
the villages!!!! almost hit a hole in one on one of their golf coarses with my great uncle... had the customized golf cart and got a tour of the cars...
The car the "Sears & Roebuck Gals" can't resist!
Ed Bolian I know right!
Ed Bolian is Kimmi more of a Sears or J.C. Penny kind of lady?

I know it's quite randomly asking but do anybody know a good website to stream new tv shows online ?
@Junior Castiel meh lately I have been using Flixportal. you can find it if you google :) -thomas
@Thomas Roy thank you, I signed up and it seems like they got a lot of movies there :D I appreciate it !
@Junior Castiel You are welcome :D
I am honestly glad Rabbit is telling this story rather than the previous owner. I cannot imagine his description of the "dates" in this car.
Gus Kipper, you realize we’re talking about a 75yo wegro. Those only exist in The Bronx, Boston and now... The Villages.
Since the invention of the little blue pill reprobates can keep on keeping on into their 70’s and beyond.

"Maybe he'll even find Miss Right. Or Miss Right Now anyway."

My grandparents live in The Villages 🤣 I can just see this guy cruising around in the Corvair picking up someone's grandma!
Bro same 😂😂
I doubt the woman identifies herself as someone's grandma.
@@mexicanspec she can identify as a cucumber these days, doesn't change the fact that the "vulgar old man" was racin' Corvairs and slayin' blue hairs!

Too bad we won’t ever see it.

But usually when my kids ask me why I'm going to the bathroom with my phone it's on a different website...
idk why rabbits got the most interesting stories, hes the best at spinning an amusing plot, one of the few things that can make me actually laugh
God damn, i could listen to ole Rabbit read the newspaper. The guy just has that charisma and voice. LoL
I could listen to Rabbit advocate for some boring political reform or bill
