How to remove the powder coat to make a design!

I had originally intended this to be my first upload of 2023, but that just wasn’t in the cards. 😂 I found that for what i was trying to do, the gel worked better than the spray. I also found out that painters tape is NOT a good barrier and not suitable for protecting the rest of the cup. My mistakes are shown at the end if you need a good visual of what can go wrong.

I definitely recommend practicing on old cups to get the hang of it. I’m fortunate to have a gas station nearby that carries tumblers for me to grab for quick gifts.
