Love how you're teaching how to not overlap previous lightened hair ,so many hairdressers just apply straight over and overprocess .
How long do these silver gray tones last ?

Wow, amazing job, I’m 53 and genetically prone to greying around the face, I’m naturally soft black hair, and I want to start a transition gracefully, any suggestions? I want to do mushroom brown, burgundy, caramel to start blending the greys with low maintenance?

Hello from Australia, 3 days ago I just had my chemical Gray transition.....I waited patiently for 6 months with my natural gray and darkish level 5 hair to come thru and then rewarded myself with a full silver/level 5 hair colour ONLY on my blonde previously dyed hair not touching my natural re~growth at all..
I absolutely love it!! So worth the wait, however, here in Australia they don't use Pulp Riot toner (altho luckily they sell it online) so I am going to use my pulp riot toner in about 2 weeks as the toner they used looks pretty weak and the hairdresser for some reason applied and immediately washed it off!
Anyhoo, big thanks to you Lauren for suggesting these beautiful Pulp riot toners in Moonstone/Silver & Violet my test strand hair (my own that i cut off my long thick hair in the back) looks stunning and so dimensional.........
Yes, I did cut my own hair, it took a good 14 months for it to grow back to long, but you couldn't notice it with my thick hair and the colour testing I've done have been invaluable.

@@burmesejade4080 Those semi permanent toners don't need peroxide. Since your'e going natural I'm going to guess your hairdresser used a semi permanent type toner, or "direct dye" like pulp riot. It's -good- that it washes out since you're wanting to blur the line of demarcation between old dyed hair and new natural silvers? I'm adding yellowish-white babylights both face framing (money piece) AND from the part down the length of my hair to ends. THEN I'm adding silver wash out (semi permanent) dye to blend existing whites. I get compliments like crazy. IT's so elegant.

Just to recap~I used my Pulp Riot toner nearly 4 weeks ago and they are still in my hair and they STILL have my blonde highlights a beautiful Moonstone colour....so I'm guessing altho the Violet & Silver toners were very prominent at the beginning the fabulous Moonstone toner has the most long lasting effect, I love Pulp riot!!
