OBS is a powerful free program for streaming and is essential in today's world of online content, but the audio plugins are somewhat limited. Thankfully you can add your own plugins from the best DAW or your favorite DAW. Some expensive DAWs even have free audio plugins for you to use.

I love this feature. Since I learned about it I’ve been running some Softube plug-ins in OBS, usually American Class A and Weiss MM-1 (a channel strip and a limiter, similar to what you’re showing)

Would like to see a video on which frequencies to set lowpass and high-pass filters to in OBS where it is still affective but, doesn't take away from the natural highs and lows of vocals.
Appreciate this video. I have been experimenting using Adobe Audition to enhance audio in my audio and video conferences. Generally fine with Audio, but for some reason latency gets introduced between audio and video on the calls. Maybe that won't be the case with OBS...will have to try. Would be cool to see how you would use a DAW to do this same thing. Thanks so much.
The signal flow is top to bottom in the list of added plugins and you will want to make sure that the limiter is the last thing in your chain and not put the EQ after.

Very nice, I now use the eq for +6 V-shaped eq "curve". Also using the noise gate from Reaper plug. The problem I have is only one monitor because of low desk space. Would love it if I could see my volume meters on my phone. I do have a mini goxlr but still having the crash every time it looks for an update bug every 30 mins. At least with separate audio channels, I can use RTX voice on my mic.
I already have Reaper, I didn't I could use it's plugins - this is too cool!

I had to put mine in vst common files for Cakewalk, they didn't show up in obs until I downloaded and actually put them there. Now they work.

Is there any way to quantify the width of a mics pickup pattern in physical distance for a set gain ratio? How far back from a 2m spaced source would you need to be to pick both up evenly etc?
hadn't needed audio plugins until recently, when I noticed Voicemeeter was making things skip and click. Now I can see if I can adjust for tunnel spund and round out the choked audio that my offbrand SM7B gives me. Podcasters like that crispy desert sound, and I'll never understand why. I feel like applying aloe to their audio. 😂

As of OBS version 30 they’ve added a 3-band EQ by default as well as natively supporting VST 3 plugins. 😄👌
OBS searches VSTs in the default folders, so if you've installed the plugins in different drives or locations, your plugins won't show.
Can you load VST3 using this method?

The Filters and Plug-ins make my OBS chug. Good info though!
Reaper is actually free too, technically the 'trial' runs out but it stays fully functional and they just let people pay on the honour system. It's their way to 'combat' piracy, if you can't beat em join em I guess.

Once I saw a video on youtube about a plugin for streamers (maybe for Premiere or so) that can cut or set marks on video when you say the word "cut" or something like that during a stream. This helps to find those spots in a big video quickly and cut (through markers or so, I don't remember exactly).
But I can't find this video anymore.
Maybe you know the name of this plugin. Maybe this is not Premiere plugin but OBS one

It's a little bit frustrating the fact that oBS doesn't allow us to manage our VST file directories :( but anyway! it's just a matter of copy/paste files into the OBS default "go fetch my dll" C:\ProgramFiles\VstPlugins\.... and it's done! :)
This worked but my VSTs are showing up real small inside a bigger window./. any way to fix that ?

this is ery useful, but if anyone knows why mic audio cuts out randomly, I will truly appreciate your help, some people say "put your headset in stereo", done!, some others to add mixed PTT keybinds (with the +), I dont evenuse PTT with OBS, I have tried with or without Nvidia broadcast and it is the same...im desperate :(

Once you realize you can do a lot of those processes live in OBS, it opens up a lot of options for your audio.

If you put these installation into the same drive and your OBS studio drive it should work. Mine is on programme file and I installed VTS plug in to same folder.

This video is nonsense. You just attached a link to download a plugin. So what?
You do not explain the best configuration for this plugin so that we can improve our audio.
This is a pointless video.
There is no best configuration. If you've done any audio editing at all, you know that it's completely reliant on the space you're adjusting for. Nothing is perfect, but you need a basic understanding of noise gate, noise suppression if applicable, and EQing based on audio peaks vs valleys. There's plenty of other tutorials on that.
TL/DR: your skill issue
