- Today we speedrun Slime Rancher, but in the most broken way possible. We use glitches that destroy the game but hey, at least it lets us go fast

The main glitch we use for speedrunning this category of Slime Rancher is sleep walking. This makes the game constantly think you are in a state of sleep, so time passes really quickly. It causes some really cool things that normally would never happen.
Also at the end I said it was a pretty competitive category but obviously... it's not. I meant that people brought the times really low, I just don't know how to talk.

@@chair5613 The slimes in this game actually do make this face when they get too hungry, and can eventually starve to death if not fed. So yeah, the slime is about to starve to death :/

And that face looks like it's got blood dripping from its mouth. I assumed that's how they look if you hit them against something.

I like how he just speed runs, not having the world record as a priority is really refreshing
I run celeste. my pb's like 49 minutes and I know for a fact I'm never getting a world record. world records are cool but not necessary
Honestly, the fact that he gets on the leaderboard in so many games is more impressive than if he had the world record in just one or two.
This dude did a speedrun in around the same amount of in-game days as my completed save file. I really enjoyed this game.
Edit: I got on Slime rancher and my save is on day 359. I wonder how many of those were deaths.

This guy makes super nice quality speedruns, and uploads every two to five days, and talks through out it all, and does research on all the strats... this could go on forever, y'all get the point. You're amazing, EazySpeezy. Keep up the great work!
And I really like this one cause its one of the few with an interesting strat thats feasible for someone to pull off in a few days

That sleepwalking thing was horrifying. Beatrix just running around while entire weeks slip past her in seconds.
Not to be all "Well, ackshually...", but Beatrix *was* canonically asleep in a pod for an entire year before she was sent to the Far, Far Range. It's still unsettling, but it's not her first rodeo.
you should try a speed run of killing a sim by laughter or embarrassment since they're two of the hardest ways to die in the game

I find it very interesting that your stamina is connected to the game's time clock rather than having it's own individual cooldown timer, im sure Viktor would find it equally intriguing that Beatrix can break time just by doing a funny sleep lol
It's probably so that of someone sleeps that they don't wake up and only have half their stamina.

@@GeorgeDCowley my guess is it's set up something like "while sleeping set health regen to 1000%" that way instead of making a new function to reset the health you can just modify an existing one.

@@GeorgeDCowley I doubt that because normally it only takes about 20 seconds or so to refill your stamina.

Fun fact: these big slimes dont actually die when you overfeed them, if you look into the slimepedia it says that its actually just a bunch of normal slimes sticked together. So when you overfeed one, all of the normal slimes burst everywhere

Honestly surprised neither of his runs resulted in tar slime disasters haha
If you didn’t realise, using the infinite jet pack you can bipass quite a few (not all) but most of the doors leaving you to only need 2, I expect this would significantly increase the speed of the run
In order to get the game's ending you need to unlock all 5 doors, reach the final message in the Glass Desert, and read all the Star Mail. Opening just two of them would not allow you to see the end.
you dont need to go through any of the doors but ones that are sealing off an area, i can use a largo slime to fly, if i had infinite energy (jetpack fuel) i could go anywhere.

this game is the most underrated game ever, the soundtrack is amazing and it looks so good and i love it very much
I was watching someone play this game from it’s day of release and got it myself a month after. From the first moment I fell in love with it and it is one of my favorite games for this reason. Really happy to see you doing more speedruns on this game.

geometrydash isnt a very good game to speedrun because its an auto scroller once you can do it without dying you cant do it faster

This is one of the coolest glitches ever! Getting a timelapse effect for the entire game is awesome, especially since it affects the game mechanics!
