Cub Cadet 125! The one that started it all!

Here is my 1967 Cub Cadet 125. I bought this tractor July 9 2014, my very first machine. In June of 2015 I decided to repaint it which took longer than I thought, the pills were coming up fast and I had no machine, so I bought a 105 ( which I no longer have unfortunately)… later in 2015 I got the 104 and from there on it just kept growing and growing
Now 20 cubs later I have quite the collection!

If I'm not mistaken 1967 was the first year for hydrostat

I believe it was 1966 with the 123. They built those 66-67 then the 125 series was 67-69

I do like the 125s they have the old look but are also comfortable and the controls are very user friendly. On the flip side I do also like the 82series cubs as they are a bit more powerful and good for everyday use

I have a 105 and would like to put a 12 horse unit and also daily use

Years ago I used to have a 105 with a 12hp engine. The 12s definitely are a lot nicer than the 10. The hydro transmission steals a quite a bit of engine power so having a couple extra hp is always good

i currently have a cub cadet 125 that i daily use and would like to find a rear blade and hydro lift

The hydro lifts are a bit easier to find than the rear blades. Both are very useful. I had a 42” snowblower on my 104 and it lifts that with no issue

It’s possible, it’s sounded like that for the last 10 years so I haven’t worried too much. Runs like a top, some day I’ll do a full engine rebuild on it
