Looks like a lot of fun. ALMOST makes me wish it was winter now, so I could be out doing the same thing. Almost. 😂

Nice cub! I have a 1420 with a snowplow. I know it’s allot newer but I feel like those where the last of quality one built. I want to get a older model what would you recommend? People laugh but I’m not the one that has to shovel my driveway

Gets the job done! Did you have to plow again not long after? Looks like the snow was coming down pretty hard.

Can you explain to me why the front tires are reversed.

No reason. The previous owner had them that way and we haven’t gotten around to switching them back.

Bar tread tires should be reversed when on a steer axle. They tend to slide/plow when put on the "right" way.

Tires weighted? Whats the most youd plow without having to spin to much

How do you like the hydrostatic transmission ? Do you feel that a gear drive would have more power ? Are you concerned about it's reliability ?

I own several with hydro's from this era and they are built to last. My tractors are from 40 to 52 years old and will never part with them, great machines.

I put mine in 3rd, and it just eats through snow. My only complaint is I one time broke a fork off in the transmission, not a fun night...
