"The gift of Love" Nawa Panginoon, mas ipaintindi mo pa sa amin ang katotohanan ng iyong pagmamahal at ng makita ito sa aming pamumuhay para sa iyong kaluwalhatian.
These truths are so fundamental to our lives as Christians, and though it's like entry level stuff, it's precisely what I needed to be reminded of today. As R.C. was speaking, it's as if he were reading from the script of my recent life, being slandered for many years and having episodes of the dam bursting...wow. God was speaking to me, reiterating the love in which I began those many years ago.
Thanks for the message about long suffering and kindness. Both go hand in hand to express love. It is always a joy to listen to R.C . SPROUL 's message. Thanks to the ligonair ministry.
When the unfortunate soul fell among thieves and was left half dead, and prior to the arrival of the Good Samaritan, the priest effectively modeled calvigod's love - he PASSED BY on the other side. What does calvigod do, in eternity past, with the reprobate while unconditionally electing future saints? He PASSES OVER them, in reformed lingo. Same verb! The Samaritan was neighbor to he that fell among thieves, but the priest was "godly."
What I admire about Sproul was his humility. One would think that he was secure in his salvation, but the fact that he admitted that he thought he was going to hell somedays shows that he was far from perfect too. That's why RC is my favorite, he didn't have that "holier than thou" attitude like most preachers do, such as MacArthur. I love MacArthur, and no one knows the Bible better than him, but he does come off as "holier than thou" from time to time in his sermons.
"Everyone who tells me I'm wrong is a troll" lol Everyone is wrong at one point, that's why we need to be saved from the fallen state. You have no desire to leave your hell. Listening to these dumb intellectuals will ensure you stay there, but suffer if you want...
@@clcagwin Love is longsuffering and kind, why are you acting in this way? What does it benefit you or anybody to say what you have said in these comments? Examine yourself, is this the kind of love that Jesus shows you to replicate? Making statements on a persons desire to stay in Hell and telling them to stay there, is that what Jesus says to you?
That’s not true about not having joy if having love. I’m going through an extremely hard trial and I’m depressed. Plus, many people have depression and they’re loved by God and people. Many Christian’s are tormented by demons because they’re furthering the kingdom of God. Sometimes I question the people that disagree with me on that if their trials were even that hard compared to others.
Joy in God can be present even when we have sadness in/because of our circumstances. That's the joy Paul speaks of when he says 'rejoice in the Lord always. I say it again, rejoice!'

This was amazing !

You enjoy hell as much as you love a "good" feeling smh. This man will only lead people to hell!
Amen Sproul. We must have the love of our Saviour dwelling within our hearts. May we praise and adore His holy name forevermore. God bless you all.

He loved as He was hated. Romans 5v8
God help me, I’m a truck driver and I can’t stand a slow poke! Drives me bananas!
Perhaps God put those slow pokes in your life for a reason

Are you serious? 😆
Not to mention, the Bible says to be perfect. What was RC waiting for? 🤔

Did he really start of with a decent point, and then trail off with more intellectual nonsense?
It's funny because RC is that resounding gong 🍿
